"You make it look easy even when I'm hard to love."

I want to cry after Taka sang this wonderful song, but I might look stupid although it'll be tears of joy.

"It's so beautiful!"

"I wrote this song about my Dad. It's called Hard To Love."

"Oh, I see." I nodded at him. That's why the lyrics were so familiar. Taka's life is an open book to me. We were bestfriends since day one. I witnessed what happened to his parents, how he ran away from home to stay at his grandma's and school dropping. But it's all in the past. He's now a successful man being the vocalist of the famous Japanese band ONE OK ROCK.

"You like it?" He beamed at me.

"Of course I do, Taka! actually I want to cry while listening to you, but I don't want to look like an idiot." I grinned.

"Tears of joy? You're so sweet, Dovyanne but no need to cry. I want you to smile always." He messed my hair.

"Hey, my hair!" I slapped his hand.

"Don't worry. You're still maganda." He winked. I taught him that Filipino word. It means beautiful.

"Gee, t-thanks." I stuttered because his face is moving closer to me while eyes on my lips.

I gulped. I'm almost certain that he wants to kiss me. Should I stop him?

I automatically closed my eyes and waited for that lips into mine but...

"Hey, guys!"

I pulled myself away from Taka, that I almost fell down on the bench we're sitting. We're here at the garden. I left the gate open earlier that's why I didn't noticed my bestfriend's presence.

"Aura? What's with the purple hair?!" I gaped at my girl bestfriend.

"Hey! It looks good on me, right?" Aura wiggled her eyebrows.

"We're now twins." Taka grinned as the two of them do the fist bump.

These two can be the best of friends. They're both rockers and in a band. Aura is the drummer of the band Last Requiem. She likes Tomoya Kanki that much that she bought a Wincent drumsticks with Tomoya signature. And because she's fond of drummers, she also got Katsuma Minatani and Tatsuya Amano's signatured drumsticks as well.

I bet you're all wondering how these two became my bestfriends. We're totally the opposite of each other. Both of them obviously love to wear rocker outfits but I prefer to wear girly clothes, though I'm not fond of wearing above the knee skirts and modern tops. I know I'm a bit outdated to the latest fashion trends, but I don't care. I'm an old-fashioned girl.

But Aura and I got one thing in common. We love ONE OK ROCK minus the fact that Taka's my bestfriend. I'm grateful to their leader Toru Yamashita because he taught me how to play the guitar. Taka thought that I have a crush on Toru. My goodness, he's so dense!

"So what brings you here?"

"Well, we will go to the mall. I want to buy some CDs."

"Again?! We went to the mall two days ago, Aura." I narrowed my eyes at her. Taka just chuckled by my side.

"Okay, okay! Aside from that, I want you to undergo makeover."

"Makeover?! What for?"

"Nice suggestion, Au. And nice hair color by the way." Mom said with Dad beside her. They brought us some snack.

"Your bestfriend's right, sweetie. You need a makeover." Dad said.

"Sorry, Dovy baby, but I have to agree on Au's suggestion, too." Taka added while giving me a peace sign.
