"Hey, Akisa. I have something for you." My good friend Karen wiggled her brows at me. I think that something is the one that she's hiding behind her.
"And what is it?"
"Surprise!" She put the magazine in front of my face. She's so sweet, huh?
Woah, wait. It's Rock Sound magazine with Taka as the front cover!
"Sorry, Aki. We can't purchase the one with the band members as cover. It's already sold out, my goodness!" Luzz, my other friend chirped in.
"It's okay with me. Thank you!" I hugged the two of them.
The three of us have been friends since birth, I mean since we were five. Although we have different tastes on things we like, for sample, Luzz loves to watch Kdramas while Karen loves animé, we have one thing in common: we love ONE OK ROCK.
And I like the leader of the band, Toru Yamashita.
"But wait, there's more!" Luzz sounded like the guy on a Home TV Shopping. Agree?
"Ta-dah!" Karen fished out three plane tickets from her backpack.
Wait. Plane tickets?
"Whoa, wait. Are we going somewhere? Like, what's the occasion?" I asked. Well, tomorrow's June 5 so--
"Have you forgotten?" Karen narrowed her eyes at me.
"I remember now." I gave them a peace sign. "The day after tomorrow is our friendsary!" Friends' anniversary, it is.
"Good girl. We're so lucky my cousin's working as a flight attendant and she told me about the discounted air fare."
"Karen's right so better prepare your baggage. We'll spend 5 days in Cuba!" Luzz threw her fist in the air. She's not that excited.
"Okay, okay! I'm so surprised about this. I'll prepare my traveling bag later. For the mean time, let's celebrate our pre-friendsary. Let's go to our fave café. My treat!" I smiled at them.
"Food is life! Let's go!"

Our table is jam-packed with foods. Food is life. ONE OKROCK is life. We ordered our favorite vegetarian club sandwich with pesto spread (plus potato chips, yay!), smoothies (strawberry, orange and chocolate), pizza, hot wings and mediocre fries.
