My face lit up when I saw Hiro's message on LINE. Although it's just 11pm in Japan, he still made an effort to greet me at exactly 12 midnight here in Philippines.
I immediately composed a reply. Hiro and the rest of MY FIRST STORY needed to take some rest after their gig. Good thing, later is their 2-day off.
Athena: Thank you so much, love. Wish you were here but I understand. Anyways, we're just a chat away. 💙
Hiro: I want to celebrate your birthday with the rest of the gang. I miss you. 😘 See you soon, love.
Athena: The feeling is mutual. Hey, take a rest now. Thanks again for greeting me.
Hiro: Anything for you, Stitch Girl. Goodnight. I love you. Always remember that.
I can't help but to giggle. I hugged the big Stitch stuffed toy that he gave to me. I miss him so much!
Athena: Goodnight, my Hiroki Moriuchi. Mahal na mahal din kita. 💙💙💙
I lay down on my bed with a huge smile on my lips.

"Happy birthday, Athena!" My best friend Camille's already here at home although the celebration will start at 7pm. It's only 3pm for heaven's sake! She's not that excited, huh?
I returned her tight embrace. "Thank you so much, Cams. Why so early? Mom and Dad's preparing the table at the garden." The apartment that I'm staying had a huge garden. Sometimes, I stayed there while doing artworks and sound tripping.
She giggled, "I'm just excited. I heard that there's a music jam later. Can't wait to meet them! I wish my brother is here too."
I shook my head, smiling. "But you're so early. My birthday celebration will start at 7pm. How I wish too." We went inside the house to have some snack.
After snack, we help our parents to fix the garden. Some of my friends came early to help us too. At 6pm, our garden is now a jamming area with lots of food and drinks!
Three bands will going to perform tonight – Lara's Cry, Black Vinyl and Unliving Dolls. Thanks to Camille's connections, we're able to invite them. Rock and roll!
Exactly 7pm, the program started.
"Thank you all so much for coming here tonight for my daughter's birthday. Hope we'll all have a good time! Enjoy the bands! Happy birthday again to our dear daughter Athena." That's my Dad doing some speech.
We jammed to the three performing bands. Gosh, they're all so good and it felt like we're all at the concert hall. It's so good to be alive! After the jamming, we fueled ourselves with overflowing and sumptuous food and drinks.
"My tummy's so loaded. I wish that everyday is your birthday, A!" My best friend burped while rubbing her tummy. Eating monster like her brother.
"You wish. But I owe a lot to you. The three bands rocked our night!" I gazed at the band members at the table at our left. They're teasing with each other while eating. Leinna, the vocalist of Lara's Cry raised her glass to me. I smiled and nodded at her.
"Anything for my best friend." We hugged afterwards.
"Oh!"
Gasps filled the air because the lights went out at the mini stage. I saw four silhouette walking towards the stage. The two seemed to carrying guitar and bass. The other one went to the drums and lastly, I heard a fake cough while the last silhouette adjusted the mic stand. And the lights went back again.
OH.MY.GOD.
Three people were wearing a disguise as clowns, scary clowns if I were you. But the vocalist? He's wearing a Stitch onesies.
Yes, folks. STITCH ONESIES.
"My brother, is that you and the rest of MY FIRST STORY?" My best friend suddenly shouted and the crowd went wild.
"MFS! MFS! MFS!"
"Oh my God." I blinked several times. Am I dreaming? Hiro and the rest of MFS are here tonight. On my birthday.
Hiro faked a cough again. "Good evening. I hope we're not late at the birthday celebration of my girlfriend?" He shifted his gaze at our table. Cams was teasing me by pushing me. "Hello my love. Happy birthday, Stitch Girl. If this is what you called surprise, I hope that you, yourself, got surprised." He grinned and winked at me.
Of course I do!
The crowd cheered once more.
"Let's get started. For our first song, here's WINNER. Like how I felt when Athena became my girlfriend. I love you." He whispered those three words that made heart beats fast. Oh, how I love this guy!
This night will be remembered as one of the best night ever. Thank heavens for giving me Hiroki Moriuchi. I could not ask for more.
