Times Up

It's been weeks since I've heard from Chanyeol or Kai.
I guess I should be thankful... But I can't focus on anything. Kai... He's so handsome. My childhood friend. I miss him. I've had feeling for him for as long as I can remember. But then there's Chanyeol.. He makes me feel good. Whenever I'm sad be forces smiles and laughter from me. He genuinely cares about me. I hope.
Looks don't matter much to me. Kai wasn't the prettiest as kid, I would know. But Chanyeol's smile is so bright. It's contagious almost. Lately Kai has lied to me. And he's made me feel stupid. He's lead me on and then stomped on my heart. And Chanyeol healed it...
"Sueyoung! Sueyoung, open the door!"
I'm forced out of my thoughts suddenly. I run to the door embarrassed that I haven't heard them before.
"Mianhae! Sorry I'm coming!" I shout.
I open the door to see Chanyeol. I stare at him unable to speak or move.
"Sueyoung? Aren't you going to let me in..?" He asked jokingly. He gently brushed past me and let himself in the house. I could feel my face blush as I closed the door. What do I say!?
"So... Times up. Sueyoung I'm not going hide it anymore. You know Kai, he has lied to you. He's my friend but you deserve better. Haven't enjoyed our time together? I want you. I want us.. You make me incredibly happy. Just give me a chance."
Just as he finished I heard a commotion coming from outside.
"Don't go in there! Please I'm begging! Gosh your so strong! Yah! Listen to me please!"
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!*
I flinched from the force applied to my door.
"Hello?" I quietly ask.
"What the heck?" Chanyeol mumbles.
"Sueyoung! Open the door!"
"Ani! Don't don't do it!"
Wait, I understood who  the second voice...
"Baekhyun?" I asked confused.
"Times Up, it's my turn to talk!"
Oh my god. It's Kai.
I look at Chanyeol almost helplessly. I open the door to see Kai standing there with Baekhyun tugging on his shirt.
"I tried..." Baekhyun sighed. He pouted and walked into the house.
"Sueyoung, I already know Chanyeol poured his heart out. He's my friend and I respect him. But we have so much history. You were my first love and my best friend. I want us to be able to say we've been together since the beginning. Please... Give me a last chance. You know how I feel, it's just up to you to believe me." A tear fell as Kai finished. He stepped forward and hugged me tightly. "I love you." He whispered in my ear. And pecked me on the cheek.
He left without another word and left me empty inside.
How did I let it get this far. So far in the dumps.
"Chanyeol, Baekhyun could you guys please leave. I can't do this right now. I know I've had time. And I know my times up. But I give up. I'm done." I turned and ran to my room.
I pressed my back against my door and slid to the ground. My head in my hands and tears rolling down my face. I hate feeling confused. I love Kai, I think I always will. But I can't hurt Chanyeol, he's been so good to me. He's made me feel loved and special.
