***TW!! Sexual Assault***
Like cold water was splashed over me, my crying stopped. My breath was still coming in short puffs; I felt hyper-aware. I sat up as normally as I could and looked at the door. The True Devil was standing there with a seemingly pleasant smile. But I could see beyond it.
His eyes weren't smiling. His body wasn't smiling. Only his lips stretched over too-white teeth in a sickening grin.
"Hello, Noelle." He began. "You've been a very naughty girl, baby. Running away, not calling, hurting your sister, worrying your mother, hurting me... staying with a... boyfriend." He spat. "Now you break a lamp that I bought with all my love for you. Very, very naughty, Noelle. You shouldn't do that to the family that saved you from that foster home, from all the tests, the nurses, the psychiatrists. We saved you and this is how you repay us?" His smile slowly fell.
They didn't save me. The nurses and psychiatrists were helping me. They were saving me from myself. And then... they took me saying that I would get better in a loving family. Saying my lack of words was due to learning how to express myself through art.
I watched as he went deeper into my room, and slowly moved backwards when he closed the door and locked it. A cold shiver ran down my spine as alarm bells rang off in my head.
"Noelle, I don't know why you thought that you'd get away with it. I'm actually surprised a smart girl like you would do something so stupid. But now you're back and that's all that matters. You've come back to me." His eyes were crazy, not focused. "Don't do that again, baby. I don't know if I could handle it."
As he spoke, I scanned the room. I could run to the door, but he was standing there. I could have fought him, but the only real weapon I had was in pieces on the ground. There was one chance to escape... and it was through the open window. I waited for the right moment to jump and when he looked away from me, I did.
I ran as fast as I could to the window, moving so fast that my bed moved and for a second I thought I would fall. My heart pumped so hard, I could almost hear it. A loud yell made me move faster. I was halfway through the opening, when I felt two hands wrap fiercely around my waist, pulling me back in. I was thrown mercilessly on the ground and I only heard the window being slammed shut because I quickly scrambled towards the door. I had unlocked it with shaking fingers, but was slammed into the door; the air in my body escaping in one hard, involuntary exhale.
"You.... You little tease." He breathed in my ear. I bucked against him, trying to get him off, but he pressed tighter against me. The sick evidence that he was enjoying this situation pressing against my back. "You have some nerve. Teasing me for so long; the subtle looks my way, how you played housewife for me... cooking, washing the dishes, cleaning the floors... You think I didn't noticed how you bended over each time I was around? Teasing me with that delicious ass."
'What? I was just doing chores, you pervert.' I thought. I tried making space between us, I tried wriggling away, I tried elbowing him, but each time he won the fight and held me to the door.
"You just need a reminder that you're mine. I need to make you forget that guy, Noelle." Then I felt it. It was a short and, what I assumed he had meant as, tender kiss on the base of my neck that made my stomach twist in disgust. "I'll forgive you, Noelle." Another sloppy kiss, on my jaw. "Whatever you and that man did... I get it, you were scared before and ran away... I'll forgive you, but you need to get my trust back, baby." Another kiss, on my cheek. "You're mine, Noelle. Mine and no one else's."
Tears ran down my face once more.
"I've been waiting so long, baby. So long for you." He breathed into my ear. He suddenly grabbed me around the waist and threw me on the bed. I pushed him away when he climbed over me. He grabbed my hands in one hand and pulled his loosened tie with the other.
