lila called around noon like she usually did. she told you that her grades were good and that she was having a great time at uni. you told her that you and I were doing good. she said that she missed you. you told her you missed her more. and then you said your I love yous and your goodbyes before hanging up with that beautiful smile on your face.
"I look forward to hearing her voice, you know?"
"I do too."
"now just to wait two weeks for the next call."

but there was no next call.
lila crashed into a brick wall on december 15th while on her trip back home for the holiday.
she died on contact.
