So this one wasn't requested actually. Its one story that had been on my mind for a bit. I've found Sweden to be one of my favorite characters because hes interesting and wanted to write a story with him. And no, I did not attempt to writ his accent. You know what he sounds like and I really don't want to make this hard to read. Anyways, I have two more one-shots to write and then I'm out of them unless somebody request another or I think of one. So do request away, I'm open for them!(ps: you don't have to request a xreader, you could request a characterxcharacter too. )
Jag älskar dig också - Swedish for 'I love you too.'

Soft clicking of metal on porcelain echoed through the silent house hold. (Y/N) sat at the dining room table, endlessly stirring his coffee. By now any need for stirring had long since been unnecessary, but the young man didn't feel like stopping. He yawned, both from exhaustion and boredom. He hadn't been sleeping very well at all for the past several days and dark bags were clearly visible under his milky (e/c) eyes. Caffeine was beginning to stop giving him the needed energy to function properly.

Another yawn escaped his lips. This was getting ridiculous. He hated feeling out of energy with a passion, but the thought of sleep was terrifying him right now. A shiver crept up his spine at the thought. (Y/N) froze when large hands rested gently onto his shoulders. Having been lost in thought he hadn't noticed this person's approach.

"(Y/N)." He relaxed against his chair again and tilted his head back, certain that the other man was behind him.

"Hey. Don't scare me like that. I didn't know you were there until you touched me." He sighed.

"Sorry." Sweden's simple reply came. (Y/N) blew air out through his nose. His boyfriend had never been one for words, but they got on just fine. Most would think it would strain their relationship. One partner who spoke so little strangers might think hes mute and the other who was blind so he couldn't read facial cues or body language. But Sweden wasn't one for either of those thing either so it probably wouldn't have changed anything if (y/n) could still see. "Why are you so tired?" (Y/N) rested his head on one hand and returned to stirring the nuke-warm coffee.

"Didn't sleep well." It wasn't the full truth but better that than full out lying to him. Being a country Sweden had enough to worry about. Certainly more important things than his boyfriend's sleep problems. "No biggie."

   "How long?"

"Does it matter?" He finally decided to lift the coffee to his lips but spit it back into the cup a moment afterwards. "Belch! Stupid coffee." He set it don heavily, suddenly feeling even more tired. "Ber?" Turning his head in the direction of his partner's footsteps, he frowned. "Where are you?"

"Here." The Swede answered. Suddenly (y/n) was lifted into the other's arms.

"SWEDEN!" He screeched and clutched desperately onto him. Sweden didn't reply, but just started walking. (Y/N) buried his face into his chest and pressed as close to him as possible. Before he lost his sight being picked up would not have been a problem, well not as big an issue anyways. But now he couldn't see anything and could only go by touch, smell and hearing, and touching his surroundings wasn't an option when being lifted off the ground. "Put. Me. Down. NOW!" (Y/N) growled at his boyfriend, though it came out as more of a scared whimper.

"No." Sweden's answer was firm as always, too most it was a rather intimidating tone. However, having been with him for about a year now, (y/n) was pretty good at picking out the subtle tone changes in his voice. He felt a pang in his heart at the tone of worry that was there then sighed because the worry was beat out by the all too familiar 'that's final and you can't argue with it because I won't let you' tone.
