This one is for my IRL friend. She asked for a Prussia one and honestly I'm glad she did. I've never written him before so it was a bit of a challenge. So requests are still open, please request what ever you like, xreader, countryxcountry, what have you! And don't forget you can specify anything about the reader or country you like! Same for the scenario!

"Thank you." You told the nurse as you took the clip board and found a seat. "Don't worry, Gillen, you'll be feeling better in no time." Reaching up you stroked the small white canary perched on your shoulder. He chirped weekly in response and slightly ruffled his tiny wings. The form was small so you were able to finish it rather quickly, giving it to the nurse at the desk. The waiting room was actually empty, despite the parking lot outside being nearly full. You had never been to this clinic before, having just moved to town about a week ago, but from online reviews it was certainly the best one near you. It was an unexpected visit but your little bird had been very week for the past two days and deciding to air on the side of caution had brought him in.

It had only been a few minute when someone else came through the interest. He was rather tall, had silver hair, a pale complexion, and a small yellow canary sitting atop his head. He walked quickly over to the nurse at the desk, demanding to see a vet right away. She was polite and simply handed him a form to fill out, stating he would need to wait for a doctor and or technician to be available. "But mein awesome Gilbird is unawzomely sick! He needs a vet right now!" The man complained.

"I'm sorry sir, but there isn't anyone available to examine him right now. You have to wait. Your wait will be shorter if you fill out the form so when a doctor is available they can take you back right away." The nurse replied. He huffed, took the form and walked over to sit down. He ended up sitting across from you, squinting at the form. Gillen tweeted meekly at the other bird, who you assumed was named Gilbird. Gilbird tilted his head and twittered back. You couldn't see much wrong with the bird, but supposed his owner would know when something was wrong. The man very gently took the bird and set him on the table and petted his head.

"Jou wait here." He ordered, to which Gilbird twittered. This caused you to giggle a bit, happy you weren't the only one to speak to their pet like it was human. Gillen tried to hop onto the table but only managed to fall forward on your lap.

"Oh, Gillen, sweaty! You can't do that!" Gently you sat your bird back onto his feet and held him in place. "I don't know if what you have is contagious." He tweeted at you but decided to snuggle into your hand instead of trying to escape.

"Zats a cute bird jou have Fräulein." The silver haired man smiled at you, sitting beside you. His bird hopped closer and tweeted at him. He reached over and placed him back onto his head. "Vould it be alright if I petted him?" he asked.

"Oh, uh, yeah sure! Go ahead! His names Gillen." You replied with a smile. Gillen leaned into his touch a bit.

The man laughed. "Kesesese. Hes very sweet. I'm ze awezome Gilbert, and this is ze awezome Gilbird." He introduced himslelf with a wide grin.

Holding out your hand you introduced yourself. "My names (y/n). Nice to meet you Gilbert. You to, Gilbird." The canary tweeted at you in greeting. "So, why does Gilbird need a vet?" You asked curiously.

"He hurt his wing. What about Gillen?"

"I'm not sure actually. Hes been really weak and lethargic as of late so I just thought a check up would be good." Looking down at the little white fluff ball in your lap you sighed. "Hes normally a lot healthier than this. I think it might have been the move."

Gilbert raised an eye brow. "Oh? Did jou just move here?" You nodded. "Zats cool! Where from?"

"Just a few cities over. Work kinda demanded it." You chuckled. Gilbert laughed too. "But I think the stress of it all might have been a little much for Gillen. He's always been a bit anxious."

Gilbert gave you a reassuring smile. "Vell, I take Gilbird here regularly, so no need to worry. Zese guys are pretty great." That was a bit of a relief to you. Gilbert seemed to be very invested in the wellbeing of his pet so that made you trust his opinion. You two got to talking more. It was more idle chit chat than anything deep. He seemed like a nice enough person, even if he was a bit loud. The doctor called you and Gillen back. Saying god bye to Gilbert you followed them.

You sighed in relief as you carried Gillen out of the back with you. He just had a simple cold, easily cured with antibiotics, rest and food. As you were about to leave someone called out to you. "Hey, (y/n)!" Turning around you saw it was Gilbert. Gilbird was sitting on his shoulder currently instead of his head. He held the door open for you with a smile. "So, everything check out with little Gillen?"

You nodded with a smile. "Yep! Just a cold, thank God! I have to pick up some antibiotics and in a week or so he'll be right as rain! How's Gilbird doing?"

"Its just a sprain so I have to keep him from using his wing for a few weeks." Gilbert replied and rubbed his bird's head. He walked with you to your car. "It was great meeting jou."

"It was a pleasure for me to, Gilbert! Hey, would you like to hang out sometime?"

"Ja! That'd be awezome!" he pulled out his phone. "Do jou want mein number?"

Nodding you took out your phone too and opened your contacts. "Yeah, that'd be great." After exchanging your numbers Gilbert held up his phone. "What?"

"Smile you two!" He grinned. You complied and held Gillen up by your face. "Awesome!" He cheered and set the image to your contact.

"Your turn!" Gilbert set Gilbird on his head and winked. You chuckled at snapped the picture and set the image. "Well, I'll call you later Gilbert, I have to get going and do a few errands." He nodded. Unexpectedly he leaned over and pecked your cheek.

"Talk to you later, (y/n)!" he waved good-bye and headed to his own car. You blushed and got into your car, giggling. Oh yes, this was going to be an interesting friendship to say the very least.
