This is the first part of a non traditional non fan fiction story about a rock star, a nervous breakdown and a mad stalker. Cake is required in the reading of this book. No famous people were hurt in the writing of this book.
At this point in the proceedings I was determined that things still, at least outwardly, appeared normal. Thinking back I may have been standing on the verge of falling into the very deep madness pit of no return. So I turned to my best friend to pull me back from the edge...I explained about the dream, the photos, the fangirls and Stalker girl's impending visit to Britain to visit Ricky Wilsons house. And after a bottle of tequila and a chat with my best friend I was assured that I was sane...really!!!...I was assured that Stalker girl was a serious threat...HUH!!!...I was assured that we needed to go and inform the police of her issues...umm...And that's how my best friend and I arrived in London two days later. Now I know what you're about to say...that's not exactly pulling you back from the brink...but it was a rather large bottle of tequila and she can be rather persuasive...and yes...I'm now blaming her...yes it was definitely all her fault.
Teetering on the edge of madness makes everything in your life perfectly crystal clear...I suddenly had clarity...I was perfectly normal...perfectly sure of what I had to do...and perfectly positive that I was right. Okay, maybe clarity is the wrong word...substitute clarity with totally stupid...teetering on the edge of madness makes you TOTALLY STUPID. Looking back for a single piece of this whole mess that I could cling to as being normal was impossible because in my slightly confuddled brain it all seemed extremely normal.
I did learn the important lesson that best friends, although rubbish at rescuing you from disaster are not afraid to leap into the madness pit with you...reassuring at the time...now very very VERY terrifying...what were we thinking?...well at that point I really don't think we were thinking...it was all pure instinct... oh yeah...and tequila...it was definitely down to the tequila.
