Chapter 9

We ran across the road into the dark alley...I was feeling rather brave...we climbed the fire escape...I was feeling slightly like supergirl at this point, scaling tall buildings and what not...and then through the darkness we spied Stalker girl disappearing through a window. We had located our enemy, we knew where we had to go, I really wished I hadn't eaten that iffy looking hotdog half hour earlier, we climbed through the window into a bedroom...eeek...we had arrived. The room was still dark but we could see stalker girl leaning over the bed, we heard a noise outside, scuffling by the door...I'd just like to point out that at this time we still had a basic understanding of the protocols of personal space...this was not our finest moment.

When madness leaves you and sanity returns you feel a calmness washing over you like a wave at the beach...or so I'm told...I didn't get this cos as soon as sanity got within a fingertip away from me my best friend launched herself at Stalker girl screaming for her to leave 'our' Ricky alone. This kinda surprised me, up until that moment we'd been saving Stalker girl from herself...it now appeared that the best friend had been infected by the fangirls and was on her own mission. It's a very rare experience for me to be in a room with other people and suddenly I appear to have become the sane one...in fact it never ever happens...sanity, as you may have noticed, doesn't exactly reside anywhere in my head...so I decided to do what anyone else in this situation would do and leapt in to help the best friend...what I was helping her do I have no idea.

We grabbed Stalker girl and wrestled her to the floor...she was stronger than we expected...considering the noise we were making I was surprised that there was no other movement in the room. Lightening flashed, thunder roared...well it would, wouldn't it...the weather would decide on this point of time to over dramatise things...I would never do that...well. The door to the room crashed open and the three of us scattered...and yes...at that point my brain decided to return and everything that had happened up to that point came flooding back to me...this was not going to be good...not good at all.

not good at all
