When the car took a halt in front of the airport gates, Emily bolted out of the car and immediately ran inside. Lucky for her, her parents owned the airport, or she would've been called out by the guards for not showing her passport or anything.

Hanna trailed behind her and groaned. "Oh, god! Slow down!" She called out, but Emily didn't listen. She needed to see Alison. She needed to get her back.

Passing several souvenir shops and a couple of guards, who told her to stop running, she stopped when she sees a girl standing in front of the huge glass wall, eyes narrowed distantly. Although, the only thing Emily could get a view of Alison's side profile, abe could tell that Ali had this scowl on her face.

"Ali," The brunette softly spoke. Ali turned around and glanced at Emily, and ignored her as if she knew the brunette was gonna come anyways. "Please speak to me, Ali."

"There's nothing to speak about. I'm leaving and looking at your face might make me not go." The blonde girl reasoned, still refusing to make eye contact with Emily.

"Then look at me," Emily insisted and smiled when Ali turned her head and met her eyes. "I want you to stay, Ali."

"I-I can't." Ali said and crossed her arms. "I-I've realized that I'm over you."

Emily squinted her eyes at the blonde's face. "You're lying."

"Uh.. N-no."

"You're a bad liar, Ali. I can see right through you." (Shoutout to Clexa, my other OTP) "Just tell me what I have to do to make you stay and I'll do it."

"Anything?" Her eyes sparkled as she waited for Emily's answer. The brunette scratched the back of her neck and smiled crookedly.

She wouldn't make me do something I wouldn't want to, would she? She thought. No.

"Anything."

Ali thought for a while before she shook her head and looked out to the window again. "Never mind." She uttered softly. "Nothing will change my decision."

"Really?" Emily piped up. Ali nodded her head, her blonde hair bouncing. "Not even a sweet passionate kiss from one Emily Fields?" She gave the other girl a hopeful smile as Alison glanced at her briefly before shaking her head.

"No. I'm over you remember?" She reminded as she turned around and placed her hand on the handle of her luggage. "Now, if you excuse me, I have a flight to catch."

But when Alison tried to go around Emily, the brunette only blocked her way. "No." She shook her head. "I'm not letting you go. Ever."

"Can't you just accept the fact that I'm over you?" The blonde girl remarked and finally got around Emily. She started walking away, but Emily decided to walk with her.

"Come on! Please stay!" Emily pressed, her eyes darting towards the blonde girl's legs that were moving faster and faster. "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"Look, just leave me alone, 'kay?"

Emily shook her head stubbornly. "No, I'm not leaving you."

"Then I'll leave you instead."

"What's the problem with you?" Emily's bottom lip quivered as tears brimmed her chocolate brown eyes that held so much emotions at the moment. "Why would you make me fall for you when you're not there to catch me?"

Alison blinked. "Y-you're falling for me?"

Before Emily can answer, Alison started running as soon as a man from the speakers announced the last call for Paris. The brunette started running too, and her being a swimmer and having long legs, just gave her so much advantage.

She finally caught up to her as they stopped in front of the gate 12.

(Emily's POV)

"Please, don't go!" I pleaded, going on my knees as I tugged on her hand. I could tell that she was trying to hold in all of her tears, as she avoided eye contact with me. I felt the tears strain down my red puffy cheeks as I closed my eyes.

I felt her try to get away from my grip as she released a tiny cold, "Let go."

"Please don't!" I begged before I broke down and started bawling. I wrapped my arms around her leg as she tried to pry me away from her leg. "I love you, please don't leave me!"

Alison looked down to me, before she kicked me on the stomach with all her strength, sending me down on the floor. I cried harder and harder. Not because of how painful my stomach felt but because the love of my life had just kicked me on the stomach.

"Well, it's stupid that you love me!" She spat coldly. I cried even more and stood up, clutching my stomach. I limped towards her as she sent me a heartless glare.

Instead of pleading and crying even more, I reached for her hand and interlaced our fingers together. "I love you.." I breathed out and for a second, I saw something flash in her eyes, but they disappeared as soon as they came, that I almost didn't catch it.

She jerked her hand away from mine, as I felt a painful tug in my heart.

"Well, I don't." She said and turned around to leave, but she stopped and looked at me over her shoulder. "Don't look for me and try to find me, You freak."

You freak...

That got all my hopes down. I just watched as she walked away. I watched as she walked away from me, bringing my heart with her.

"What a tragic twist.." Hanna said.

I looked up and wiped my tears, laughing. "You're not even helping, Han."

My best friend threw her head back and laughed. "Well, I'm just trying to say, FORGET ABOUT HER, Em. You're better off without her."

"That's not what you were saying before she left." I pointed out, chuckling.

"I know!" She said, dismissively. "Okay, so.. What's your ambition at the moment?"

"Ambit–Hanna! Where is this conversation heading?"

"Shut up!" Hanna laughed. "Just answer the question."

I pressed my lips together. "Well, I wanna take over my mom's, uh, company. Like you know, be the CEO of it and be good at it."

"Aight." She beamed. She stood up and sat beside me, patting my shoulder. "So, instead of crying over that girl, let's just focus on your goals and ambitions, 'kay?" She reached up and wiped my tears. "Now enough cryin', babygirl, we've got an ambition to achieve."
