"WATCH OUT!!"

I heard Ryan scream, I was confused for a second before he came crashing into me

"What the hell man?!"

I heard a blazing roar of an engine as a car speed over where I just was,

He jumped up.

"What my problem?! What's YOUR fucking problem?! Almost getting hit by a fucking car?! The hell man..."

I stared at him for a second.

"So at heart you are just a little sweetheart aren't you?"

His face turned really red.

"So no thanks for saving your ass?"

"Whatever. You did it without anyone saying anything..I don't need to say thanks"

I closed my eyes, frowning, as I stood up and brushed myself off.
I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked away.

"Excuse me while I go home, bye!"

I heard frustrated laughter behind me.

"What ever..don't expect me to do anything nice for you again."

I rolled my eyes in frustration and annoyance.

Tch..

Ryan's POV

I gritted my teeth as he walked away.

I can't believe it.... He didn't even say thank you!

Like seriously, he could have been killed right then and there.

The least he can do is say thank you...

Wait.

Why did I even help him anyways?

Ugghhh...

I raked my fingers through my hair and groaned, starting to walk down the street toward my house.

"I'll just go home...."

I sighed, walking down the block.

Suddenly, someone pulled on my sleeve.

I looked down, seeing my little 13 year old brother.

"Ethan!!"

I shouted, leaning down and hugging him to me tightly.

"*cough* Ryan, l-let *cough* me go... you're choking me."

He squeezed out.

"O-oh, ahaha, sorry."

I let him go.

"So, what's up, Eth?"

I smiled down at him.

"I heard your classmates talking about a party today. The whole Junior grade is coming... that's your grade. AND they said siblings included."

Ethan's light blue eyes gleamed.

I shook my head.

"No, Eth, you aren't going."

So there's a party, huh?

"When is it though?"

"It starts at 6:00... It's at Leo's house."

I looked at my watch.

5:16.

"Oh. Thanks bud."

I hugged my little brother.

I was about to head toward Leo's house, but Ethan grabbed my sleeve again.

"Ryan, if you don't let me go, I'll tell Leo to kick you out."

My eyes widened as I turned toward my little brother.

"......No Eth."

"Then no party for you, Ryan."

"....Fineee...."

I sighed and grabbed my little brother's waist, raising him above me onto my shoulder.

"Let's go then, I guess."
