Ryan's POV

I grinned.

"Well, if that actually gets published, then no one can steal you from me!"

I laughed, wrapping my arms around Kai's waist and hugging him.

He blushed a deeper red and hugged me back.

I smiled, leaving a tip for the waiter and taking Kai's hand, pulling up up out of his seat and out of the restaurant.

Outside the restaurant, I turned to him.

"You're staying at my house tonight!"

I grinned at Kai.

"What?! I treated you to dinner so-"

I placed a finger on his lips, shushing him.

"Thanks for dinner, Kai. It was really good."

I took my finger away from his lips and pressed my lips against his.

Kai's eyes widened and he tried to push me away.

Because I was kissing him in the middle of the street, where tons of people were passing by and watching us.

I wrapped my arms around his neck so he wouldn't get away.

Kai pushed my chest a little more, but finally gave up after a few moments and kissed me back.

I pulled away, smiling.

"There we go!"

I laughed, pulling Kai down the block toward my house.

~Next day after school....~

I was walking down the hallway, yawning.

'It was a long day....'

I yawned again, stretching.

'I wonder where Kai is~'

I thought.

'He's probably ignoring everyone that's talking to him.'

I smiled to myself.

Suddenly I heard a voice from behind me.

"Mr. Louie!! Wait up!!"

I heard a high pitched voice from behind me, running down the hallway toward me.

I turned around as I see my number one fan and lowerclassmen, Jamie Canales, running toward me with her arms full of papers.

"Oh, hey Jamie."

I smiled.

She stopped right in front of me.

"Mr. Louie! You're on the newspaper!"

Jamie held up a newspaper from her stack and waved it in front of my face.

I took it, looking at the front cover.

"School's two most popular boys found in an empty classroom, a few days later found on their first date!"

The title read.

"You're gay, Mr. Louie?"

Jamie asked.

I blushed a bright red.

"N-n-no- I mean... Yeah.... Well...."

I stuttered.

Jamie laughed.

"You should have told me before, Mr. Louie!"

She smiled widely at me.

I laughed as well.

"Sorry."

I patted her head.

She grinned.

"I'm gonna hang these up all over school now... See ya later!"

Jamie nodded and ran down the hallway.

I chuckled, walking slowly down the hallway, the newspaper Jamie gave me still in my hand.

I heard two voices by the classroom I was just about to pass by.

I walked over to the classroom and looked in, seeing two figures.

One of a girl, and one of... Kai?

The girl was talking to Kai.

"Kai...."

She started.

Kai was looking at her intently.

"...Kai, I really like you...."

The girl blushed.

"And.... I was wondering... will you go out with me?"

Kai gazed at her, and then smiled, putting a hand on her shoulder.

My eyes widened.

"W-wha....."

I mumbled, taking a few steps back, staring at the two.

Everything seemed to slow..... I could feel my heartbeat pounding in my head.

My eyes started to water, the tears in my eyes blurring my vision.

I took another step back and tripped on my foot, falling onto the ground.

A tear formed in the corner of my eye and slid down my cheek.

I saw Kai turn my way, his eyes widening.

"R....Ry?"

He asked softly, letting the girl go, turning toward me.

Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I got up and started running down the hallway.

"Ry!!"

I heard Kai's voice behind me as he ran after me.

I ran up a few flights of stairs, running onto the roof.

Tears rolled down my cheeks, and I tried to wipe them away.... Unsuccessfully.

I stopped in the middle of the roof of the school building.

Kai followed after me, walking toward me.

"Ry...."

He said, reaching toward me, putting a hand on my shoulder and turning me around to face him.

I reached up and pulled my hood over my face.

"Ry, I'm-"

"Stop."

I interrupted.

Kai's eyes widened.

"Ry... are you.... Crying?"

His grip on my shoulder tightened.

He reached his other hand over to me to wipe away my tears....

....but I slapped his hand away.

Kai's eyes widened even more.

".....R-Ry?"

He asked.

I looked up and glared at him.

"Don't call me that."

I hissed, pulling away and walking over to the edge of the roof and jumping off.
