My Defeat
Nothing feels the same
Everything has changed
I can't keep faith in how I feel.
I used believe,
Now I have no will to succeed. You glued me to this ground
Not even my tears can wash away my defeat
I am stuck in this seat
Watching you harm meShaping me into somebody
I don't recognize.Who is this strange creature
that doesn't look me in the eye?The one barely put together?
On the other side of this wall
made of glass and metal?"That's you."
He saysIt'd be to much to trust
in what comes though his mouth
when all he does it spit out lies
that shatter a soul's mind. But suddenly I am hit all at once
When I see familiarity in
Slivered spiritSame eyes.
Same nose.
Same defective hopes.
