He's drowning in a sea of self-loath
Mama doesn't see he's falling
His papa walked out the doorHe thinks he's all by himself in the big bad world
Full of monsters and demons and shadows that lurk
He doesn't see them flailing alongside him
Only the villains who grab at his heartBut they reach out
Together they swim
Past their fears and their suffers
Crashing over their headsNo longer falling
No longer lost
No longer hateful
Towards the ones he foughtShe's flying over the crowds
She doesn't realize a thing
Until she strays from the path
And trips over her two feetShe thinks she's all alone in the big bad world
Full of monsters and demons and shadows that lurk
She doesn't see him helping her out
Only the villains who grab at her heart
