I am art
like greyscale art
that drips off the canvas and onto the floor
because thats what society says we should be and how we should act
but art is only what we define ourselves as
art is who you are, and what you chose to be
you could choose to be bright and full of color
or claw your way out of the canvas and fall to the floor and decide
to not get back up art
because art is a pigment of imagination
and society says we arent worth college
or degrees
and that we starve
but we crave the affection we know we deserve
hence why
I am greyscale
until the right artist can add color
And shine light, on the art that I am

Invisible Papercuts
PoetryA small book of poems. Some can be very triggering. I write mostly free verse. If you don't like it, don't read it. All of these are fueled from conversations I've had or things I've felt. In Honor of my Uncle.
