"WAKE UP YOU LAZY BOYS. FIFTH DAY OF ENLISTMENT HAS BEGUN."

Jungkook groaned, rolling over and flipping his pillow over his head. He could hear the other boys getting up and rustling around.

He finally decided to get up after Taehyung came over and threatened to poor cold water over his head.

"You don't want to be late, Jungkookie." Jungkook frowned at his new nickname. Taehyung smiled with all his teeth, letting out a very deep chuckle. Cute, Jungkook thought. Taehyung couldn't keep people from smiling when they were in the same room.

Jungkook got up and shuffled his way into the bathroom, quickly getting in and out, seeing as how there were still six other boys that had to get in after him. They had about six minutes left before they had to head down the breakfast, and Jungkook used his time wisely. He pulled on his boots hurriedly, changing his sweatpants for the heavy camouflage ones. Jungkook kept the white tank top.

He honestly had no idea how to dress at first. Jungkook stole glances at the other members and noticed their outfits. He matched his own to theirs.

Finally everyone was ready to leave and they all gathered at the door leading into the hallway. Jungkook was about to ask what they were waiting for when a voice suddenly came over the intercom.

"All soldiers may head to breakfast at this time. Please do not block the hallways and head straight to the cafeteria."

Jungkook's roommates suddenly cheered, throwing themselves into the hallway.

They walked quickly and Jungkook soon found himself near the back of the pack. He tried to pay attention to the turns they were making so he would know the layout of the building.

All hope of paying attention to his surroundings were gone when Jimin suddenly dropped back to walk near him.

"Why do you wear your heavy duty jacket?" Jungkook asked out of the blue.

Jimin shrugged. "Because I feel like it."

Jungkook nodded. No one else as far as he could see - and the hallways were packed with soldiers - were wearing their heavy jackets. They all wore the same thing as him.

Jimin poked Jungkook in the stomach suddenly. Jungkook stared at Jimin like he was crazy. The latter just laughed.

"You have some set of abs, man!" Jungkook relaxed, wiping the confused look off his face. He smiled shyly down at his feet.

Suddenly the group of boys emerged into a gigantic room full of tables. A line of soldiers wrapped around the room, all lined up to get food. Jungkook and the others quickly shimmied their way into the line.

"Yeah one time I was late, and right once I sat down to eat they were already calling groups to go do drills." Jungkook heard Yoongi say from in front of him.

"That's because all you do is sleep in, stupid!" Namjoon hit the back of his hyung's head lightly.

Yoongi growled. "I'm older than you. Don't treat me like that."

"Yes Father Louis Williams Suga Adams the Third." Namjoon bowed deeply while Yoongi smirked.

"All hail Father Suga, all hail Father Suga!" The boys around Jungkook started chanting without being too loud. Jungkook felt he missed out on something as they neared where the food pick-up was.

Jungkook finally got his turn as he slowly made his way down the "assembly line". He looked down at his plate as a slab of discolored meat was slapped into it.

Jungkook looked up. In front of him stood a pretty girl with big eyes and shimmering brown hair. She grunted as she cut more meat to put on plates.

The girl wiped her forehead with the back of her hand and looked up. She met eyes with Jungkook and he immediately smiled at her. She seemed shocked as he rubbed the back of neck and moved farther down the line. Wow, she was pretty.

Jungkook trailed behind the other's while they found a table. He sat down by Taehyung who immediately started blabbering to the others about the girl.

Jimin dropped his tray down next to Jungkook's making him jump.

"Woah, calm down." Jimin grinned at Jungkook, plopping down next to him. Jimin looked like he was about to start a conversation with the younger boy, so he quickly shoved a spoonful of beans into his mouth. Jimin looked down at Jungkook's mouth, which was almost overflowing with beans. He turned his gaze back up to his roommate's eyes and shook his head.

Jimin then, too, ate.

Suddenly a loud buzzing came over the intercom. Everyone in the cafeteria quieted down, stopping their conversations and face-stuffing to listen.

"Groups one and nine will report for drills right after this message.
Groups two and seven will head out for indoor drills at exactly thirteen hundred hours.
Groups three and five will leave to do outdoor drills at fourteen hundred hours.
Groups eight and ten will head outside to do standard training and orientation at seventeen hundred hours.
Lastly, groups four and six shall report for night duty at precisely twenty-one hundred hours."

The voice clicked off and the cafeteria suddenly got louder as people dumped their trays and headed out.

Jungkook's roomates groaned simultaneously when the man was done talking. He looked around confusedly as a couple of them even cursed.

Namjoon caught his nervous look.

"We're group four." Namjoon leaned forward and poked the right side of Jungkook's chest with his finger. The younger boy looked down, seeing the number '4' sewn on his shirt.

Jungkook raised his eyebrows, waiting for Namjoon to continue.

"That means we're going out with group six later tonight." Jungkook tried to recall what duties groups four and six had to do when his thoughts were suddenly interrupted.

"We have to stay standing all night and if we're caught sleeping we get a three day long suspension from activities!" Yoongi cried out suddenly. Hoseok slapped his hand over his friend's mouth.

"Don't scare the poor kid. It's not that bad."

"Oh it's horrible!" Yoongi's yell was muffled because of his friend's hand.

Jungkook sighed, following Jimin as he suddenly got up to dump his tray.

The others soon followed.
