Chapter 4

Max's p.o.v

Grrrrrrrr.

Man, this new girl sure knows how to make me a Mad Ma- Dang it!

That dumb name is catching on, unfortunately.

Anyways, she is super annoying!

She never stops giggling, she talks at a frequency only dogs can hear, and she never stops smiling!

So far, I don't think I've seen her not smile.

Worse part is, she's my best friend's cousin, so I'm forced to be nice!

I can't focus on editing without hearing her yapping.

Suddenly, Ross walks into the Editors Station, introducing the area.

Probably still giving Shelby a tour.

"Nice area!" I hear her say.

I didn't think someone can sound so perky, but i was wrong.

I turn around, watching Ross point to each of us and say our names.

When he points to me I give a quick glare, just to get it out of my system.

And I aimed that glare right at Shelby.

Luckily, I don't think Ross saw, but I'm sure Shelby did.

Good.

Then they walked away.

"I saw that" I heard someone say.

I look to my side, to see Tim looking at me with a big grin.

"Saw what?"

"That glare, does someone hate somebody already?", he cooed

"You got that right. I aimed that glare right at the new guy"

"Why?"

"Cause she's annoying as heck!"

"Weeeeeelll, I say you like her!"

What did he just say?

"WHAT!!"

"Come on! I saw that studder when you introduced yourself to her!"

"Its just a studder!"

"Suuuuure. I ship it."

"Why!!"

"Cause opposites attract, duh!"

I facepalmed.

"Tim, you sound just like Jess."

"If she were here, she would say the same thing."

"Tim, you are so lucky I'm tired right now, otherwise, I would be beating the crap out of you right now."

He laughs nervously.

"Anyways, you ready for lunch with Adam in a bit?"

"Yeah"

Yes! In a few minutes, I'll be away from that annoying yapper.

Lunch without the new guy, here I come!
