Chapter 7

Max's p.o.v

Man, I'm so glad lunch is over.

Ross kept trying to talk me into giving Shelby a chance.

Nope!

Anyways, when we got back to the office, Em walked up to me.

"Hey Max! There's been a slight change in the schedule, so I need you to look it over."

"Ok."

I walked over to where Em hung up the schedule, and I read it over.

Let's see....

I record with Adam at two, I have to edit one of Barney's videos, I have to do an Office Antics challenge, and I have to.....RECORD WITH SHELBY?!

NOOOOO!!!!

I have to record with Ross, who's being joined by me, Adam, and Shelby!

I am so not ok with this!

I would confront Em with this, but honestly, she kinda scares me.

Don't tell her I said that.

I see Shelby walking towards me.

"Hey Max? I have a ques-"

"Not now Shelby. I need to talk to Ross."

I quickly stomped right past her.

I walk into Ross's office.

"Ross!"

He jumps.

"What?!"

"I have to record with Shelby!"

"Shhhh"

Puts his finger over his lips.

"Hold on", he whispers.

He shuts the door behind me.

"There, now no one can here your babbling! Lucky them" he mutters.

"I heard that!"

"What about you and Shelby?"

"I have to record with her!"

"And only her?"

"Well, no. It's in one of your videos. You know, the one with you, me, Adam, and Shelby?"

"Oh! That one."

"I really don't want to record with that rainbow!"

I shudder at the thought.

"Um ok. So me and Adam are in the video, correct?"

"Yeah, well, no duh! It's your video!"

"Well, to avoid talking to Shelby, just talk to me and Adam!"

"Uh ok? That shouldn't be hard."

"Yep! And by the way, what do you have against my cousin?"

I think for a moment.

"Well, for one thing, she's really annoying! She always babbles, she has a squeaky voice, which you know I can't stand! She's nice, she's always happy, and....UGH"

As I finish my list, Ross rolls his eyes.

"C'mon man! Just deal with it! I thought you were a Mad Max, not a Whiny Max!"

I glare at him.

"Whatever. I gotta go prepare for the recording with Adam."

I walk out of his office.

Phew!

That felt really good to get that outta my chest!

Shelby's p.o.v

Max just stomped right past me.

I wonder what that was about?

Oh well!

I see Em.

I have a question to ask her.

"Hey Em!"

"Oh! Hi Shelby!"

"I have a question."

"Ok, shoot."

"How come on the schedule, there agent any videos for my channel?"

"Oh! It's because since it's your first day, I haven't made one for you yet.
So until then, you'll record with with people for their channels. I promise I'll have you added, in at least a few days."

"Oh ok! That makes sense. Also, I have another question."

"Sure!"

"So when you asked me if I wanted to hang out with you and 'the girls', who are they?"

"Oh, well, one of them is Jess! Her YouTube channel is called Aphmau. Have you heard of her?"

"Oh! Yeah! I've seen a few of her videos."

"And the other one is Alesa, Adam's wife."  A-N, I know they're taking a break, but just pretend for the story ;-;

"Oh! Ok!"

"Yeah!"

"Do you know what we're gonna do on Saturday?"

"Um, we're gonna go to IHOP, then we'll just go from there."

"Ok! Sounds fun!"
