The next morning was the best ever. Fionna had come over early and made breakfast. Red pancakes, apples, strawberries, and a redish pink smoothie.

" So Fi," I said, " what do you wanna do today?"

" I don't care Marshall," she replied. " Wanna stay in and watch scary movies."

When she said that the biggest grin ever found its way upon my face. And hers too. I got Friday the 13th and put it in to play. Then I got some popcorn, blankets, and pillows and laid with her on the floor.

We had a whole marathon of movies. We watched all of the following : Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Cujo, Dracula, and Freddy vs Jason.

Half way into Dracula, Fi curled up to me. I wrapped my arms around her gently not really sure what to do. We finished our movie marathon around sunset. Again we had wasted a whole day together. But it was worth every second.
