"What even," I mumbled, rubbing my shoulder as he walked out. He had never been this hostile. Why the sudden rage?

"Hey Fi can I talk to you in the kitchen," I shouted. I didn't want her being anywhere near that pyscho.

"In a minute Marshall," she shouted back. I couldn't tell if she was just tired or if she was annoyed. Her voices sounded the same.

A moment later she came in carrying a plate coated in syrup. She rinsed it off and set it in the sink.
"Yes Marshall," she said, crossing her arms.
"Bunny are you mad at me," I said looking at her body language. She never looked like this or talked like this for that matter. What was wrong?
"Yes in fact I am," she said, "Gumball told me you attacked him. For no reason."
"What? Fiona I never did that," I said shocked, "he attack me! Look."
I pulled off my shirt and showed her my shoulder. A large bruise formed across it.
"Oh," she whispered, "baby I'm so sorry. I... I thought you hurt him. Oh I'm so sorry."
She wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me. She smelled like flowers. Lillies and roses to be exact.

I hadn't felt this warm for years. And for some odd reason I didn't want the feeling to escape me.
