Half way through the movie Fionna fell asleep on my shoulder. Eventually so did Lily then Gumball and I were the only two left awake. When the movie ended, I turned off the tv then decided to carry Fionna up to bed. I let Gumball know he could crash here for the night and soon he fell asleep on the couch, his arms protectively around Lily.

I laid Fionna in her bed then slipped in next to her. I wrapped my arms around her tiny figure gently, not wanting to wake her. She groaned, rolling over. She nestled herself closer into my chest and i let myself wrap my arms around her a little tighter.

I began to sing softly to her until I too grew tired and aloud myself to fall into a deep, restful sleep.
