Chapter 7

Cody's POV:

I walked in the door after MAIN EVENT and headed upstairs but Camden stopped me.

"Did it work?" he asked.

"What do you think?" I asked sarcastically. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything because I knew he was doing his best to help me out but the pain I was feeling was almost unbearable. I wanted to break down and cry, but that wasn't my thing. I don't cry.

"You could have just said yes," he answered sarcastically. "Are you okay? You're grumpier than usual."

"No, I'm never eating that pill again. I don't care if it stops me from changing. I feel like I'm going to throw up."

"Right, I'll have to work on that."

"No! I told you. Never again."

"But it could come in handy at some point."

"Really? Cam, I would skip any party so that I wouldn't have to eat that thing. I feel like I'm dying." I doubled over and Camden kept me from falling down the stairs.

"Dude, what's going on? You can't keep this from me. What are you feeling?"

"I'm dizzy, my head is pounding, and I'm gonna puke." I doubled over again. Alex and Ashley walked through the door and I finally puked.

"Dude, not the wood," Alex yelled at me.

"Alex, he can't help it," Ashley scolded rubbing my back.

"Why didn't you tell me it was this bad?" Camden asked and it was a second before I realized he was talking to Alex and not me. "I would've come to get him."

"I didn't know," Alex yelled. "You know what just make sure he's feeling better. I'll get the mop."

"Just get me to my room please," I complained.

"No Cody," Ashley and Camden protested.

"Yes!" I yelled and the room went silent. "Just let me sleep it off. I'll be fine." Camden helped me get up the stairs and I slammed the door behind me. I flopped on my bed and I was out like a light.
