It was finally my birthday! I woke up and ran out my room, running down the stairs, jumping and accelerating towards the Kitchen.

" Hellooooo!" I shouted happily, holding my hands out , expecting people to be waiting for me. But there was no one. It was quiet and silent, only The sound of the grand clock in the hall ticking.

I sighed and turned ready to exit.
" Happy Birthday!"
They were all there, making me Jump. Michael stood in front of them all , smiling and clapping his hands happily, his face looking hopeful.

Behind were the securities and maids. They were smiling, nodding their heads at me.
I stretched a smile on my face and grinned at Michael.
" Happy Birthday Bunny" he laughed, walking over to me, his hands stretched out.

I ran to him and collapsed in his arms, smelling his light fragrance while crying.
" I love you so much daddy, I thought you forgot" I mumbled nuzzling into his striped pyjamas.
" Kath Honey you crazy ? I wouldn't miss it for the world" he whispered, stroking my head. He then pushed me gently away and wiped my eyes.

He made Maria take me up to get washed and dressed.
Maria smiled as she held my hand.
" my my - your becoming a woman Lady Kat" she grinned.
I didn't say anything but nodded my head in approval. Michael did say that the older life has more evil.

As soon as I was ready, I ran downstairs once again, my green dress flowing. Michael was on the phone, his hands gripping it tightly, a frown on his face.
" what? What do you mean you cant come!? You have too?" He hissed
He then shook his head, sighed and ended the call.

I hid behind the wall and breathed out slowly, before emerging out pretending I didn't hear anything. Michael was wearing a red shirt, black trousers. His designer shoes, polished and clean.
" You look stunning and extravagant malady" he smiled bowing.

"Daddy? Who's coming ?" I said.
He frowned and stood up.
" uhhhm , a lot, they'll come later" he whisphered , taking hold of my hand.

He led me to the living room, where all his workers were there. It was room full of adults. There were no children. There were no games and party fun, where you can see children running, shouting and playing.

I bit my lip and looked at the cake and the lit up candles. I looked back at them. Was this my life for the rest of my days? I felt like I didn't want a party anymore.

But Michael was in front , his hands clasped and eyes looking hopeful. He was staring tensely at me as if he wanted to know what was going through my mind.
" Wish tickle bunny" he whispered.

I closed my eyes.
" I wish that one day daddy would be happy"
