"So, erm, hey Caitlin." John greeted me awkwardly, strolling mechanically into the kitchen and eyeing me warily.
"Hi John..." I replied and took a bite out of my cheese and cucumber sandwich which I had made in like, two minutes so it was a bit messy.
"How are you... feeling?"
I put the sandwich down. "Fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
"Oh you know, I was just wondering!" He shot back, opening the fridge and peering in for something to eat.
"You were 'just wondering' how I was feeling? That's really believable, Lennon."
He shut the fridge slowly. "Mm... so how are you and Geo getting on?"
"Fine! Now tell me, why the sudden questions?" I demanded, picking at the crust of my sandwich.
Ignoring the last part of what I said completely, he again looked at me warily. "You and George are fine?"
I gave him an angry stare. "Why wouldn't we be?"
"Nothing. I just thought he would have... never mind." John mumbled and interrupted himself, finally grabbing a sausage roll from a cupboard and walking out before I could ask any more.
I ate the rest of my sandwich and played on my phone for a bit. You'd never guess what, my twitter had blown up recently. Since people had realised me and George were dating, I had over 50,000 followers and increasing every day! Even if I tweeted something completely stupid, but mentioned something related to The Beatles, I would get thousands of retweets. Especially if it was something like "Ew Ringo, put that ham down" or "George where the hell did you find that toilet brush". Fans loved that kind of thing.
I glanced at the kitchen clock. It was half twelve, the boys would be going to the studio to record some songs for their new album in half an hour. They said I could come with them but I wasn't sure, I had never seen them in the studio before and I didn't want to get in the way. I heard Brian pushes them a bit sometimes to get things done and if I was there it may cause extra trouble. I decided to head upstairs and ask George.
"Hey Georgie." I muttered as I slowly opened his bedroom door and padded in. He was sitting on a chair by his desk, writing something. I assumed it was a song, but he never let me see his songs even if I begged him. He always said that he didn't want me to see them in case they were about me, which I totally did not believe because I doubt he would write these lovely, beautiful songs about someone like me.
"Hey Caitlin!" He said brightly, looking up at me with a smile. "You okay?"
"Yeah I'm brill, you?"
He turned his chair so he was facing me and reached out to hold my hand. "I'm great. You coming the studio with us then?"
"I don't know, George. Won't I get in the way? I don't want to be a nuisance."
He rolled his eyes. "You're not a nuisance, it'd be better if you were there. I need something pretty to look at while John drones on about what he wants to do with the album."
"Oh so I'm just something pretty to look at? Like some kind of shiny object?" I retorted, raising an eyebrow just to mess with him.
"Oh no, no you know I didn't mean that. I mean you're just so cute and lovely, I need you to get me through the day." He told me with a faint blush on his defined cheeks.
"Oh George, you're so sweet." I answered, leaning forward to kiss him softly on the cheek. "You sure I won't get in the way?"
"Caitlin stop being stupid, yer know all the others fancy you anyway so it's not like they'll mind you being there."
