Chapter 19: Leaving!

Real World!
     Veronica was with her friends Rachel, Rhonda, and Cody. They just left Abominably Amazing. "You okay?" Cody asked. "I guess." Veronica replied. "Gilbert is a jerk." Rachel stated. "Yeah, but he was right." Veronica stated. "What?" Rhonda asked. "I can't be mad at him because he realized it first." Veronica replied. "What are you talking about?" Rachel asked. "I don't know how long, but for a while our relationship just hasn't seemed right. Like, we're not supposed to be together or something. He just realized it first, the way he dealt with the realization is bad, but I can't stay mad at him. He's meant to be with Lynda, she makes him happy. I want that, what they have. I got a job offer in Boston, I think I'm going to take it." Veronica explained. "What?" Cody asked. "It's not that far, we can visit sometimes and talk everyday." Veronica stated. "If you feel like you have to go, then go." Rhonda stated and Veronica smiled.
     Veronica finished packing and left a note. She put everything in her car. Then Gilbert walked over. "What's going on?" Gilbert asked and Veronica sighed. Veronica shut the lid of the trunk and sighed. "I'm moving to Boston." Veronica replied. "What? Why?" Gilbert asked. "It's just better for me there then here. It's not about you or Lynda. It's just something I have to do." Veronica explained. "Oh." Gilbert stated. "Yeah." Veronica agreed. "Are you sure about this?" Gilbert asked. "Yeah. I have to go. Say bye to Lynda for me." Veronica stated. "I will, if she'll talk to me." Gilbert stated. "She should." Veronica stated and then she got in her car and then she drove away.
      Veronica drove to the police station and got out of her car. She walked in with a smile and waved at Lynda. Lynda waved back and looked at her confused. "Hi, Veronica. What are you doing here?" Lynda asked with a smile. "I'm moving to Boston and I wanted to tell you that I think you should talk to Gilbert." Veronica explained and she sighed. "Veronica...." Gilbert started. "No. He is a great guy, he made a mistake. I forgave him and he hurt me more then he hurt you. So, just forgive him. I've seen him try so hard to be with you, more then he has ever tried to be with me. He really loves you." Veronica explained and Lynda sighed. "I don't know." Lynda stated. "Just, think about it. I should be going." Veronica stated and then she went back down to her car and she drove away.
     Veronica was driving and she finally saw the town line. But then lightning came down and crashed right in front of her car. She moved her steering wheel and hit a tree near the town line and crashed.
