Chapter 23: Framed!

Real World!
      Rachel, Rhonda, and Cody all ran into the station and saw Gilbert awake by laying on the bed. "It's true!" Rhonda exclaimed. "What's true?" Lynda asked. "That you arrested Gilbert for Veronica's disappearance." Cody replied. "Oh, that. Yeah, I did." Lynda stated. "Where is she?" Rachel asked. She tried to run to him but Rhonda and Cody is holding her back and Gilbert jumped up. Lynda and Marvin ran to her. "We'll find her. Just calm down." Lynda reassured and Rachel growled at her. Then Cody's cousin, Isabella, walked in. "Cody! I thought you said this will be a short stop!" Isabella exclaimed. Rachel calmed down and took a deep breath as Rhonda and Cody let go of her. Gilbert layed back down as Lynda sat at her desk. Isabella saw Marvin and her heart skipped a beat. She has had a crush on Margin for as long as she can remember. Marvin started at her and his heart skipped a beat too. Marvin use to not even notice Isabella, but lately he's a had a big crush on her. Isabella is really Irisa. "We'll be right there, Issy." Cody stated and Isabella sighed. "Lets go." Rhonda stated. Rhonda grabbed Rachel's arm and dragged her out as Rachel glared at Gilbert, and then they left.

Flashback!
   Rochelle sighed as she looked at her homework. She goes to a gargoyle college so none of her friends go there, but her boyfriend does. Her boyfriend is Garret. She was at the library as she did her homework when Garret walked in. "Hi." Garret greeted and he gave her a kiss on the neck. She smiled as Garret sat next to her. She kissed him on the lips and turned back to her homework. "You need help?" Garret asked. "No." Rochelle replied and Garret laughed. "Of course. You're one of the smartest ghouls I know, besides Ghoulia." Garret complimented. "Thanks, I think." Rochelle stated and that both laughed. "Don't you have homework?" Rochelle asked. "Yep." Garret replied. "Are you going to do it?" Rochelle asked. "Nope." Garret replied. "Don't make this like high school, where you wait til the very end to finish and you barely past." Rochelle stated. Garret got out all of his fashion works and started working. "As long as I pass, it doesn't matter. I don't even really need college, I want to be in fashion." Garret stated. "I want to be in fashion too, but I still work hard." Rochelle stated. "But that's who you are. You're a hard worker, everyone has to be how you want and be perfect. It's not how I am." Garret explained. "I know, but still." Rochelle stated. "As long as it works for that person, it doesn't matter." Garret stated. "I guess, you're right." Rochelle stated.

Real World!
     Rachel punched the wall of her apartment in the hotel. "Calm down, Rach!" Rhonda exclaimed. "Are you okay?" Cody asked. "No!" Rachel exclaimed on the brink of tears. Rachel is the toughest and is trying to be strong for Rhonda and Cody. Rachel, Rhonda, Veronica, and Cody were really close. Rachel and Veronica were closer and then Rhonda and Cody were closer. Rachel is really hurting, but trying not to show it. "Rach.... You have been trying to act strong since Veronica vanished, you need to let it all out." Rhonda explained. "No, you guys need someone strong." Rachel stated. "We've already let all of our pain out, it's your turn." Cody stated. Rachel finally let some tears fall and she fell to the ground. Rhonda and Cody held her as she let it all out.

Flashback!
     Rebecca was at a college for all monsters. She finished her homework and put everything up. She was in her dorm and layed on her bed with a sigh. Then there was a knock on her door and she sighed again as she got up. She answered the door and smiles when she saw that it was Cy Clops, one of her closest friends. "Come in." Rebecca greeted and moved so he can come in. Then she closed the door and they both sat on her bed. "Where's Venus?" Cy asked. "She's not here right now." Rebecca replied and he nodded. Venus and Rebecca requested a room together and got one, so they're roomies. "Have you spoke to Rachel?" Cy asked. "Yeah, yesterday." Rebecca replied. "Nice." Cy stated. "Have you?" Rebecca asked. "Yeah, today." Cy replied. "Cool." Rebecca stated. Cy has had a crush on Rebecca since before they even met. Rebecca only see's him as a friend though and doesn't know about his crush on her.
     Cy got up and walked over to Rebecca's dresser. He was looking at the stuff ontop. He picked up a robot unicorn with wings and looked at it. Rebecca stood up and walked over to him. "I love this." Rebecca stated. "This is unique." Cy stated. "Yeah, my dad gave it to me before he disappeared." Rebecca stated. "So, it's valuable to you?" Cy asked. "Yes." Rebecca replied. Cy put it down carefully. "It's okay, I trust you." Rebecca reassured and they both smiled. They looked at each other in the eyes. Cy's heart skipped a beat and Rebecca felt something she has never felt before. Rebecca stepped back and Cy sighed. There was a moment of awkward silence.
    Then Venus walked in. "Oh, hey Cy." Venus greeted. "Hi, Venus." Cy greeted. "I didn't know you were here." Venus stated. "Yeah, well I was just leaving." Cy stated. He grabbed his coat and left as Rebecca watched him leave, with confused feelings.

Real World!
    Rachel was asleep. Rhonda and Cody were just sitting on the floor, next to the bed, and just hanging out. Cody looked at Rhonda in amazement. She looked at him with a genuine smile and he looked away, shy. "I was thinking about going threw my stuff and see old stuff I have and forgot about tomorrow, you wanna help?" Rebecca asked and Cy smiled. "That would be nice." Cy replied. "Okay, it's date." Rebecca stated. "Date?" Cy asked. "You know, it's just something people say." Rebecca replied. Cy looked down on sadness. "Oh, right." Cy stated. Rhonda looked at him with a slight smile and her heart fluttered. She felt something she has never felt before.
     Marvin was at Abominably Amazing to get some food for him, Lynda, and Gilbert. Lynda was at the station at her desk. He looked up and saw Gilbert laying down with his eyes closed, but awake. "I don't agree, you know." Lynda stated. "Agree with what?" Gilbert asked. "You, kidnapping Veronica." Lynda replied. "Gilbert sat up and Lynda looked up and their eyes met. "You.... You don't?" Gilbert asked. "Of course not." Lynda replied. Gilbert smiled and then so did Lynda. Then Marvin walked in and they both turned away as he handed them their food and it became silent.

Flashback!
   It's been a month since Rebecca started having feelings for Cy. No one knows, but her. She walked into her dorm to find Venus, Rochelle, and.... Cy. Her heart skipped a beat and she put on a nervous smile. "Hey." Rebecca greeted. "Hi." Venus and Rochelle greeted in unison. "Hey." Cy greeted shyly.
The foursome talked for hours before Cy had to go home. An hour later, Rochelle was getting ready to go. Rebecca stood up quickly. "Could you wait to leave for a moment?" Rebecca asked. "Yeah." Rochelle replied. "What's up, Becca?" Venus asked. "About a month ago, I started to develop feelings for someone I never thought I would develop feelings for. Each time I see him, they grow bigger. It's still new, and I don't know what to do." Rebecca explained. "Who is it?" Rochelle asked. "Not telling." Rebecca replied. "Please." Venus pleaded and Rebecca sighed. "Fine.... It's Cy." Rebecca admitted. Rochelle and Venus gasped but then smiled. "It's about time!" Rochelle exclaimed and Rebecca looked at them weirdly. "I know, right!" Venus agreed as the two girls laughed. "What? What are you guys talking about?" Rebecca asked. "Cy has had a crush on you since the beginning." Rochelle replied. "What?" Rebecca asked. "It's true." Venus agreed. "How come I didn't know?" Rebecca asked. "That's what we never figured out." Venus replied. "It was quite obvious." Rochelle stated. "It was?" Rebecca asked. "Yes!" Venus and Rochelle replied in unison. Rebecca sighed and then left.

Real World!
      Marvin wasn't at the station, but Lynda was. "What do you think happened?" Gilbert asked. "I don't know. I think you're being framed though." Lynda replied. "Why? Why me?" Gilbert asked. "Because you're the easiest. Considering you were her fianceé, and what happened between you two." Lynda replied. "I guess, that makes since." Gilbert stated. "Yeah, you and I are their best bet to frame." Lynda stated. "Makes since." Gilbert stated. Lynda stood up. "I have to go." Lynda stated. "Where are you going?" Gilbert asked. "To find the person responsible." Lynda replied and she left.
    Lynda went home and crashed in her bed at midnight. She's been looking and searching for the person responsible, but she can't find the person. She doesn't know what to do now. But she won't give up, she can't. This is too important for her to just stop.

Flashback!
       Rebecca went to the boys dormitory and knocked on Cy's door. His roommate, Henry Hunchback, opened the door. "Ooh! We've got a smoken hot babe here!" Henry exclaimed. Rebecca rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Is Cy here?" Rebecca asked. "Cy, you know her?" Henry asked. "Cy walked over to the door and Rebecca uncrossed her arms. "I told you that I hang out with three girls all of the time, she's one of them." Cy stated. "Are the other two this hot?" Henry asked with a smirk. "One of them is taken." Cy replied. "You don't have a shot with me or the other one." Rebecca stated. "Ouch!" Henry exclaimed, still smiling. "Henry, could you leave us alone?" Cy asked. "I'll just be taking a walk now." Henry replied and he walked out. Cy let Rebecca in and then he closed the door behind her.
     There was a moment of silence as they sat on Cy's bed. "So what is this about?" Cy asked. "Why didn't you tell me you liked me more then a friend?" Rebecca asked and Cy gasped as his eyes widend. "What? How do you know?" Cy asked. "Rochelle and Venus told me." Rebecca replied. "How did they know?" Cy asked. "They said it was obvious." Rebecca replied. "Oh.... Then why did they just tell you?" Cy asked. Cy doesn't know what to say, so he just keep asking questions. "Probably because of what I told them." Rebecca replied. "Which is?" Cy asked. There was a moment of silence. "That I started gaining feelings for you a month ago." Rebecca replied and Cy looked at her shocked.       Rebecca avoided his gaze for a moment but finally looked at him. Then Rebecca made the first move and kissed Cy passionately on the lips.
