Chapter 28: Lawyer!

Flashback!
      Venus, Rebecca, and Cy were reading up on gargoyle history. Rochelle and Cy are the smartest ones of the group. Rebecca slammed the book and sighed in frustration. "Jeepers! This isn't helping!" Rebecca exclaimed. "Bec, calm down." Venus stated and Rebecca took a few deep breaths. Cy started thinking and came to a realization. "What if this isn't a gargoyle problem?" Cy asked. "What do you mean?" Venus asked. "I mean, maybe this doesn't have anything to do with gargoyles in particular." Cy replied. "Yeah, it does. Why else would they be at the gargoyle college?" Venus asked. "Because it's just the first school." Cy replied. "Okay, you lost me." Rebecca stated. Cy sighed. "I'm saying, maybe this thing is starring at the gargoyle college and then going to love onto more schools." Cy replied. "This is just the start of it." Venus stated. "Yes." Cy stated. "You are so smart." Rebecca stated. "We have to go tell Rochelle and Garret." Venus stated.
       Rochelle and Garret were looking at the spiritual and supernatural books. "Do you know which ones will help us find what's going on?" Garret asked. "Hard to tell when we don't have any clues." Rochelle replied. "So we just have to look at every spiritual and supernatural books until we find what's been going on at our school?" Garret asked. Rochelle started thinking and thought of something. "No." Rochelle replied. "Then what?" Garret asked. "Visit our school and find clues." Rochelle replied. "They'll never let you go by yourself." Garret stated. "They won't find out. Stall for me and stay here." Rochelle stated. She kissed Garret and left.

Real World!
    Daisy and Hanna were walking and they had ice cream in their hands. They saw Christopher at his construction site. He looked at Daisy and she looked at him. "You should go say hi." Hanna stated with a smirk. "No thank you." Daisy stated. "Why not?" Hanna asked. "Because I don't want to." Daisy replied. "Come on, you guys are dating and are in love." Hanna stated. "No, we're not!" Daisy exclaimed. "What?" Hanna asked. "We broke up." Daisy replied. "When?" Hanna asked. "A week ago." Daisy replied. "Why haven't you told anyone?" Hanna asked.   "Everyone knows." Daisy replied. "I didn't." Hanna stated. "I know." Daisy stated. "Why didn't you tell me?" Hanna asked. "Because I knew you wouldn't leave me alone and saying crap like, we're meant to be or something." Daisy replied. "But you are meant to be!" Hanna exclaimed. "No, we're not!" Daisy exclaimed getting annoyed. "Why did you guys break up?" Hanna asked. "He doesn't feel the same about me as I do him, he played with my heart." Daisy replied. "He loves you and he would never hurt you!" Hanna exclaimed. "Well, he did hurt me! He doesn't love me! End of discussion! Don't bring it up again!" Daisy exclaimed. Daisy threw the rest of her ice cream away and walked off angrily.
      Albert was sitting down in Abominably Amazing and eating his lunch. Then Jade walked in wearing a green dress and Albert couldn't help to notice how beautiful she looks. Jade smiled at Albert, she has always had a crush on him. She sat down in the booth next to him and Alison walked over to her. "How may I help you?" Alison asked. "I'll have coffee and union rings." Jade replied. "Coming right up." Alison stated and then she walked away.
      Alison handed Jade her food and then walked off. Albert was done with his food and stood up. He smiled at Jade and decided to walk over to her. He sat across from her and she blushed. "Jade, right?" Albert asked. "Yeah." Jade replied. "I'm Albert." Albert introduced. "I know." Jade stated with a smile and Albert smiled too. "Well, I should go. I have a client." Albert stated. "You're a lawyer, right?" Jade asked. "Yeah. What do you do?" Albert asked. "I work at the pet shelter." Jade replied. "That sounds cool." Albert stated. "Yeah." Jade agreed. "Do you like animals?" Albert asked. "Love them, all of them." Jade replied. "I like animals too. But wild animals are my favorite." Albert stated. "I love wild animals too." Jade agreed. "Well, I should go." Albert stated as he stood up. "Nice talking to you." Jade stated. "You too." Albert agreed. Albert walked off and Jade couldn't help but smile.

Flashback!
     Jane was in the jungle, visiting her family. She was just telling a story to a bunch of animals. But her family called her so all of the animals scattered. She stood and and walked over there. "Hi, mom. Dad." Jane greeted. "We have a visitor." Mrs. Boolittle stated. "Who?" Jane asked. "This is Andy Beast." Mr. Boolittle stated as he showed a purple guy and Jane smiled. Jane saw him a few times when she went to Monster High. But they never really spoke, Jane always thought he was kind of cute. Jane was born and grew up most of her life in the jungle. Andy wasn't born in the jungle, but he grew up in the jungle. "Hi." Jane greeted as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Hey." Andy greeted. "Andy, this is out daughter. Jane Boolittle." Mrs. Boolittle introduced. "Nice to meet you." Andy greeted. "You too." Jane agreed. "Andy, Jane. You two go off and hang out as we make dinner." Mrs. Boolittle stated. Jane nodded and they walked off.
    Venus went to the spiritual and supernatural book section and saw Garret. "Where's Rochelle?" Venus asked. "Restroom." Garret replied. "I'll wait." Venus stated. "Tell me and I'll tell her." Garret stated. "Alright. This isn't a gargoyle problem." Venus stated. "What?" Garret asked. "We believe that this thing is starting at the gargoyle college and then will move on to other schools too." Venus replied. "Yeah, I think Rochelle could help. So tell her." Venus stated and Garret nodded. Venus walked off and Garret sighed.

Real World!
       Albert went to the police station. Gilbert was hsndcuffed and sitting at a desk. Albert walked in and put his suitcase on the table and sat across from him. Lynda and Marvin were behind the glass and listening. "I'm going straight to the point. Did you kill Veronica?" Albert asked. "Of course not." Gilbert replied. "Then why were your fingerprints on her jewelry box that had her heart in it?" Albert asked. "I don't know, I'm being framed." Gilbert replied. "Well, if that's true.... Then I'll prove it." Albert stated. "Thanks." Gilbert stated. "I think he did it." Marvin stated. "I don't." Lynda stated and Marvin looked at her as she sighed.

Flashback!
   Rochelle parked her car outside of her college and got out. She gasped and her eyes widend as she saw her school. It was on fire. People were outside and people were trapped inside. She didn't know what or who could do this. Her phone rang but she chose to ignore it and she ran inside her college.
