*next day*
I was laying in bed on my phone scrolling threw Twitter until I heard a knock on the door. I looked up from my phone and it was Zach.
"Can we talk?"
"What's there to talk about? You and Ariel kissing?"
He nodded his head
"Oh well go ahead date her. It's not like we're dating anyways. It's not like that kiss meant anything to you. "
" Emma...."
"What Zach what else do you possibly wanna talk about"
"I'm sorry Emma. I really truly am"
"Well i don't care, I just want to go home"
"Are you ever gonna forgive me"
"I don't know Zach... Just please leave"
Zach walked out of the room.
"UGH why do I have to be here I just wanna go home" I said out loud not realizing someone else was in the room.
"You didn't wanna see me? " Edwin said
"Fine I take that back but I wish all of this never happened"
" okay well you need to get out of bed you have been in here the whole day it's almost 4 o'clock." Edwin said
"But I wanna stay here until the trip is over"
"Well can I have a hug at least" Edwin said pouting his lower lip out.
"Ugh fine come here Edworm"
As he hugged me he grabbed me by the waist and threw me over his shoulders.
"EDWIN NO PLEASE DONT BRING ME OUT THERE" I said in a baby voice
He started hopping up and down which made me and laugh. we left the room and I was still on his shoulders and we entered the living room. I was still laughing.
" look who got out of bed today " Maddie said in a sarcastic voice.
I looked up and saw Zach staring up me with sad eyes. Ugh I think I'm gonna go talk to him. I feel bad I was kinda harsh. I rolled my eyes and I told Edwin to put me down. I walk outside eyeing Zach so he would come outside.
I sat on the edge of the pool and I put my feet in. I felt someone sit beside me.
" Emma..." Zach said
"Hmm?" I said in a annoyed tone
" I'm really sorry. I should have never kissed Ariel. I guess I got caught up in the moment. I know it's hasn't been a full day that we have gotten in a fight but I miss you."
I turned to look at Zach and I saw he was starting to cry.
" I don't wanna lose you Emma because I kissed a girl who I hardly even know and that I have no feelings for. I wish you could understand how truly and deeply sorry I am. "
He was about to get up but I grabbed his hand making him sit back down.
" it's fine Zach it's not like we were dating in the first place. Come here I missed you too" we both stood up and hugged.
" do you have your phone on you? " I asked smirking .
"No why it's inside"
"Because this is why" i pushed him in the pool.
"You just ruined the moment Emma" he said.
" it's okay " I walked back inside.
It's currently 11 pm and we all walked to the beach because it would probably be empty. Zach and I were walking beside each other while Maddie and the rest of the gang were walking up front. I felt Zachs hand brushing against mine and then he intertwined our fingers. I looked up at him and smiled and I laid my head on his shoulder while we walked.
We arrived at the beach and no one was there. I ran to the waves so I could feel the water against my feet. We were all having a good time. Zach and I started dancing. He started twirling me and he grabbed my wrist.
"Owe" I said out loud not meaning to.
"What?" Zach said in confusion and he then looked at my wrist and saw I had cuts on them.
"Why ?"
" I don't know "
" when did you do this?"
".... Yesterday."
"Because I kissed Ariel?"
" yeah" I said and looked down because I was ashamed.
"It's okay Emma we don't have to talk about it just promise me one thing"
" what ?"
" you won't ever do it again, promise ? "
"I promise"
We both went to the blanket we set out before and we went and laid down and stared at the stars.
" you guys gonna come swimming ?" Rudan said approaching us.
"No thanks" we both replied.
We spent a couple hours at the beach and we realized the time and it was almost 4am so we decide to head back and go to sleep.
