Shikamaru x Reader

Lights Out

(y/n)'s P.O.V.

He's about to kiss me! Just a centimeter away. Then we kissed! His lips are soft and his kiss was gentle. YAS!!! Wait what am I saying? I'm saying I love him. 

"YAAAAAAY!" Screams everyone in the room but Shino. Hinata's yay scream was a little quiet.

"OH SHUT UP!" Yells Shikamaru. BOOM. Suddenly all the lights go out. You got scared and hugged Shikamaru without noticing when thunder struck. Suddenly you hear some scared screams. 

Shikamaru's P.O.V. 

I feel (y/n) hug me. She must be scared. No one can see us but Neji and Hinata with their Byakugan but they haven't said anything. I hug (y/n) back to make her feel better. 

I whisper in her ears, " You owe me three times now." (y/n) chuckles a little then kisses me on the cheek to maybe thank me. I could feel my face getting hotter. 

Neji's P.O.V.

"Byakugan!" I say. I look around the room. Sasuke is covered by Ino and Sakura's arms. Hinata is hugging Naruto while Naruto rubs her back to reassure her that everything's alright. I see Tenten being hugged by Rock Lee who's scared. I see Kiba just sitting there lonely along with Shino. Poor guys. At least I'm not alone by myself. I look to see Shikamaru hugging the scared (y/n). 

"Damn you Rock Lee!" I hear Tenten say as she smacks Rock Lee upside the head. I look through the walls and see a bad storm. 

"There's a bad storm out there, I suggest no one should go home until morning." I say.

"What? I hope my mom and dad are okay. They went out of the village to collect some more flowers a few hours ago after I left the shop to plan the party." Says Ino. 

"Ino do you have any candles?" I ask Ino. 

"Ah yes but I can't see." Says Ino. I walk over to her and pick her up putting her on my back. 

"You're my navigator and I'm your eyes, now where are the candles?" I ask Ino. 

Ino's P.O.V.

I can feel my face getting hot......

"Ino?" I hear Neji say. 

"Oh um there's some in a cabinet in the kitchen." I say. 

"Okay." Says Neji as he walks over to the kitchen. I keep my head low so I wouldn't hit my head on anything. 

(y/n)'s P.O.V.

"So were stuck here until the morning?" I ask laying back down. Shikamaru does the same thing and puts his arm around me again. Damn, if he wasn't so damn cute I would kill him.

"I guess so..." Says Shikamaru still hugging me. I suddenly see a glint of light. Ino and Neji come in with lit candles.

"Here let's place them on the tables around the room." Says Ino. Neji nods and put his share of candles on some tables along with Ino. All the candles were set. 

"Since the lights are out we should play seven minutes in heaven." Says Sakura with a grin. 

"YAAAAAY!" Screams Ino. "Okay, gentlemen, write the first letter of your name then write however many letters are in your name on a piece a paper and put the paper in the hat." All the boys were handed a piece of paper and pen. They wrote what they had to write and placed their piece a paper in the hat Ino was holding. 

"I gotta go first right?" I ask. 

"Yep." Chuckles Ino.

"Alright bring it over here to me." I say reaching my arm out.
