Made Me Smile

I did wait
While in that state
Till it passed
Only seeing the massed
Which I did rather hate
So I did wait for it to separate
Turning when the mass dispersed
Which was the worst
Then I saw you
Almost like on cue
Like it had been rehearsed
I did not think it was cursed
Time seemed to cease
Bringing on such peace
My eyes only on yours
Like it seized all wars
Making my heart increase
Just like a kiss of peace
Time began again
Which sent some pain
I wanted to be there for an eternity
Not modernity
But you were one of many men
Yet you were the main
My eyes landing
As if you were commanding
Only to show me a smile
That I wanted to see for a while
I felt quiet a delight
Only feeling bright
My heart going at a mile
No wonder you made me smile
