I wake up in a white room. I feel dazed as if I was drunk. I look around and realize I'm in a medical room. "Looks like somebody is finally awake," says a young looking girl. I'm guessing that's the nurse. "You took quite a fall to be able to knock someone like you out," she says checking me to make sure everything is all right.

"What did I hit?" I say confused.

"You seemed to hit the metal wall, one of the obstacles. Your head seemed to have slid down it," she says. "You're lucky it didn't cause any neck damage," she says checking some medical things. "You're free to go, but try to be for careful. Also, come back here in a few days for me to remove the bandages," she says heading toward her desk.

"Ok," I say heading out. I was lucky to have woken up the next day around lunch so I wouldn't have to deal with training for today. My schedule gives me 3 hours of free time after lunch so I head toward my "room" which I share with 4-5 other girls. Once I got bored staying in my room I decided to check out the camp.

I found a storage room so I decided to go in. It is pretty big for a storage room. I look around and I notice a guitar case in the corner so I go to check it out. The guitar inside is a nice plain wood guitar. Looks like someone made it themself. I remember one part in the rule book saying music wasn't allowed. I realized cause it was free time no one would be walking around so I pick up the guitar and start playing the song I would play to Natalie when she was a toddler. NATALIE! I forgot about her! The first time for awhile I start freaking out a little. I don't know what happened to Natalie! I pray that she is ok. I hear the bell for dinner. I quickly put the guitar away and head to dinner.

I decide to skip dinner and just sit outside in the rain. Of course someone comes to talk to me. Ever since I came to camp I can't be alone. I look up to see Anthony which surprises me. I quickly get to my feet and take off my military jacket. I know he doesn't need it but I don't want him to get the flu. He reminds me of Natalie. "What are you doing out here?" I ask giving him my jacket to put over is head.

"I came to check if you are ok. I was worried when you fell," he says.

"I'm fine. You should really go inside before you catch a cold," I tell him.

"I'll be fine, but did you hear? We are gonna be connected to the scoreboard to see how good we are on the field. I bet you're gonna be at the top if you could survive a fall like that!" he says excitedly. I take a seat again and sigh. "What's wrong?" he asks.

"Nothing," I say as if I never sighed.

"Why are you so nice to me?" he asks.

        "What do you mean?"

"Well you haven't left me alone out here and you didn't tell me to leave," he says as if it was obvious.

"Maybe I can stand you more than others," I say looking at a wild chipmunk that somehow scurried into the camp.

When it's only 20 minutes left until curfew I go to the storage room to play the guitar some more. When I get close I hear someone playing. I guess it's the owner of the guitar. After 5 minutes of listening I hear the music stop. I go to open the door to ask if he/she could play again, but the door opens and I see Isaac. Inside I'm surprised but I bet if I was him I would see a robot instead of a girl.

  "Lucy?!" he exclaims while whispering.

"Isaac," I say as if I knew it was him. He pulls me into the room and quickly shuts the door.

"What are you doing?" he asks still whispering.

"I came to play," I say pointing to the guitar.

"You know there is a guitar in here?"

"During my free time I was checking out the camp. So when I saw the storage room I wanted to check it out."

" You won't tell anybody about this right, and why are you all wet?" he asks me.

"I sat outside again,"

"You have to stop going outside. You can sit with my friends and I."

"No I'm good," I say.

"What's your problem with trying to make friends?" he says frustrated.

"I don't need friends," I say started to crack tears.

"What's wrong? You can tell me. I'll be here for you," he says.

I finally crack after all these years. I fall against the wall and start crying in my hands. I start feeling the headache coming from when I cry. I don't want him to see me like this but I can't get myself to leave. I know he sits down next to him and I feel him hug me. Before I know it, I'm asleep.
