Drew's POV

Tour was finally over. It seemed like forever. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast but eventually you start to miss home. It was about mid-November by the time we reached Sequim. That's right. I brought Ashley back to Sequim before we went back to Huntington. I wanted to show her our real home town. We stepped foot into the Stromberg house and Laraine greeted us instantly.

"Oh you must be Ashley! I'm Wesley and Keaton's mother! Please call me Laraine. I cooked dinner, it's in the kitchen!" She said saying the last part specifically for Wes, Keaton, and me. We bolted into the kitchen to find Larraine's famous lasagna. That stuff was to die for! The best part? It was fresh out of the oven!!

Ashley and Mrs. Stromberg walked into the kitchen after us. I couldn't help but easdrop on their conversation.

"Drew been treating you right dear? I know he's not my son but I sure will put him in place for you." I smiled at the thought of Laraine giving me girl advice. It's true that she basically was my mother. It made Ashley laugh. Her laugh was adorable. I've noticed over the few months that she has a different laugh and smile for everything.

Her smile. She had 6 different smiles. There was the smile when she was about to perform; her nervous smile. There was the smile that she used when someone made her uncomfortable. One when something made her straight out laugh. And another one when she was laughing at herself. She has a certain smile when she talks about Wesley and Keaton and her other friends. And then there's that smile when she talks about me. That smile was my favorite. The way her eyes lit up and her pearly white teeth shimmered.

"He's honestly been a sweetheart." She responded back.

"Do you love him?" I wasn't expecting Laraine to ask her that. I wonder if they know I can hear them. Wesley and Keaton are zoned out eating their food but I'm trying to listen as closely as I can for her answer. Does she? She knows I love her. I've told her that plenty of times but she's never said it back to me. Not that I have a problem with it, she's not ready and I get it. I just with she would say it though.

"I like him... a lot." She mumbled embarrassed to be talking about it. I smiled to myself as I continued to eat my food but I couldn't help but wonder what she was waiting for. Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong. She likes me...a lot.  I can't force her to love me. She doesn't know what love is and that's why I'm here... to show her.

"Hey Ashley, how about we go for a walk? Just us?" I suggest as I finish my plate and wash it off before putting it in the dishwasher. And that's when smile 6 appeared. She nodded her head and waited for me to walk toward her to grab her hand.

"Drew. Before you go can I speak to you for a second?" Laraine called from the living room. I walked over to her as Ashley called over my shoulder.

"Oooooo You're in Trouuuubleeeee." She teased. I rolled my eyes at her and saw Laraine sitting on the couch reading a cooking magazine.

"I like her Drew. Keep her safe." She tells me and gives me a hug. She lets go and I nod my head.

"She's definitely not like most girls is she?" I question Laraine and she smiles and shakes her head no.

"And for that reason I think she's good for you. I'm going to tell you the same thing I would tell one of my own boys. Don't fuck up." I laughed at her advice and thanked her before turning back to Ashley who was waiting by the door with my sweatshirt hanging loosely over her body.

"That looks good on you." I whisper into her ear as I open up the door and walk outside after her.

"I hope you don't mind. It was chilly outside and it was just hanging by the door..." She trailed off.

"I don't mind at all. You actually look better in it than I do." I tell her honestly.

"Oh shut it." She says and pushes my shoulder.

"Seriously though. You look pretty hot right now." I say and wink at her. She rolls her eyes and stops walking.

"I don't know where we are going... You should probably lead the way." She tells me and I grab her hand and entwine my fingers with hers. I start walking towards this path in the woods. It's so quite and peaceful and the view is amazing in the fall.

"I like to come here a lot when I was younger and just think about everything and everything. It's like my one spot that I have all to myself. That nobody knows about."

"Then why did you bring me here?" She asked me clearly feeling uncomfortable.

"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to share this place with you. Turn it from my place to our place." I say scratching the back of my neck. I honestly don't know where I was going with this. I should probably stop talking.

"You know when I was younger I used to come to a place like this." She says walking ahead of me. She wasn't really walking but talking a few steps forward to enjoy the beauty of the nature. "When things went bad I would just run as fast as I could and when I got to the woods I just collapsed. I would just lay on the ground and just stare at the clouds as they moved over the trees and just breathe" She spoke so carefree. It was if she was just talking and I wasn't even there. It was as if she was telling the story to herself. Except I was listening intently to her.

"I used to think that life was worthless. I used to wonder why I was ever made to be here but then I would come out here and I would just think 'Wow. Maybe this is what I've been missing'. I probably sound like an idiot right now..." she trailed off and I shook my head to disagree with her.

"No. It was deep. It was true. And I'm glad that you shared that with me." I told her. She smiled her 6th smile again today and my heart melted a little more again.

"Thank you Drew. The more time I spend with you, the more I like you. I really like you Drew." She says as she wraps her arms around my neck. I place my hands on her hips as she leans in and kisses me softly. I kiss her back and my hands start to move underneath her shirt. They were still resting on her hips, but this time on he bare skin.

She deepened the kiss slipping her tongue inside of my mouth. We wrestled for dominance and I obviously won. Her hands ran through my hair knocking the spikes out of place but I didn't mind at the moment. She had me in some kind of trance where all I could, see, touch, smell, taste, or hear was her.

She took her hands out of my hair to run them down my abs. Her hands pulled at the bottom of my shirt in order to rid me of it. I helped her take it off and her hands caressed my abs. She bit her bottom lip which turned me on greatly. I started to suck on her neck earning slight moans escaper her lips. I bit down on her sweet spot and I heard my name escape her lips. I liked hearing that. I stopped when I knew that I had left my mark. I was about to attack her lips again when she stopped me.

"I don't want to take this too far Drew." She said as she turned her head to the side. My cheeks turned red with embarrassment.

"Of course, I'm sorry. I should have stopped." I apologized.

"Don't apologize. I didn't say I didn't enjoy it." She says as she runs her hands along my biceps. She bites her lips as she stares at my body.

"When we get back to California, the guys and I are throwing a party for the end of the tour. I want to see you there okay?" I tell her and she just nods her head up and down.
