Ashley's POV
I was walking on the beach when I decided to go get a smoothie. I waited in line for about 3 minutes until it was my turn. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and handed the lady my money. A few minutes late she gave me my drink and I took a sip of the deliciousness. I took another sip as I turned around. I immediately slammed into something hard. Make that someone.
My smoothie spilt all over my shirt. Ughh. I slammed onto my butt immediately after colliding with him. I look up to see a muscular blonde guy standing above me. I felt like I was staring at his perfectly toned abs for hours.
"I'm so sorry. Here let me help you up." He says snapping me back into reality. I tell myself not to fall for his good looks. He just spilt your smoothie all over you. He puts out his hand but I ignore it and push myself up on my own.
"I can get up on my own thanks." I say annoyed as I grab some tissues and try to wipe the smoothie off my shirt.
"Here. Let me get you another one." He walks over to the window of the smoothie place but I just walk away. I'm not really in the mood for a smoothie anymore. Plus, I need to wash this shirt or else it might stain. Just my luck to start the day huh? Have some guy spill your smoothie all over your shirt? Well I've never had much luck growing up. Actually, I've never had much luck period. But that's just my life. You get used to it.
Drew's POV
I just finished surfing when I spotted a girl with bright red hair. I mean like, wow! She was ordering something from the smoothie place and I thought I would introduce myself. As soon as she turned around she slammed right into me and fell onto the ground. I offered her a hand up but she ignored it and told me she could get up on her own. I felt so bad. Her smoothie is all over her shirt.
"Here. Let me get you another one." I say to her. It's the least I can do. After all, it was my fault that she spilt it. I shouldn't have been so close to her. "One strawberry smoothie please." I tell the lady behind the counter. I give her the money and she hands me the drink. I turn back around looking for that girl but I don't see her.
I walk around for about a minute or two and I still don't see her at all. I mean, how could I miss her? She had such bright hair. She was gorgeous. And I didn't even get her name. I grabbed my board and skated home drinking the smoothie. Strawberry isn't my favorite but someone had to drink it.
"Where did you go? I looked behind me and you disappeared." Wes says as I walk through the door.
"I saw this girl and.... guys, you should have seen her. Her hair was bright red and she was.... she was just smoking hot." I tell them. I wonder why she left though. Did she not here me tell her I would buy her another?
"Nice! Did you get her digits?" Wes asks putting his fist out for me to pound. I just ignore it and shake my head.
"No. I didn't even get her name. She ran into me and spilt her smoothie all over herself and when I went to buy her another one she was gone." I tell them. Wes and Keaton just laugh.
"Nice going man!" Wes tells me.
"Do you know how to make a good first impression or what?" Keaton chimes in.
"Shut up Keaton! I'm better on my worst day than you are on your best." I tell him. I walk up to my room and just think about that girl. I can't get her out of my head. Normally girls are all over me. Mostly for the fame. Others for the abs. But this girl acted like she hadn't been effected by me. Maybe she doesn't know me. I mean she can't be from here. I would have recognized her.
Ashley's POV
The smoothie thankfully came out. It took awhile but it did. I decided to go watch T.V. so I spent a few hours watching Glee and then ended up falling asleep on my couch.
I woke up at around 9. I made myself some cereal and then got changed for the beach. Hopefully I don't run into that guy again. I could tell already what he wanted. He came over to attempt to flirt and get into my pants. But I'm not going to fall for it.
I grabbed my skateboard and rode to the beach. My new place isn't that big but it's only like a 5 minute skate to the beach, so I like it. I lay my towel down and try to get a tan. There aren't too many people here because it's only 10 but I don't mind because now I can hear the waves crash onto the shore. It's a really soothing sound. It's disrupted though when I hear a whole bunch of giggling girls.
I sit up and look towards the noise. I see about 3 girls flirting with this guy. Well not just any guy. The same guy I bumped into yesterday. I didn't mean to but I made eye contact with the blonde dude. I looked away quick and just decided to lay back down. As if I knew it was coming, the sun hitting me stopped. I looked up and saw the same guy from yesterday standing over me.
"Hi. I'm Drew." He told me. I could tell he was a flirt. I just rolled my eyes and laid back down. He sat down next to me and I just tried to ignore him. "And you are?" He asks me. I turn my head to face him.
"Not interested." I say harshly. He doesn't seem affected by it though.
"Well not interested. Since you never stayed for your smoothie yesterday, how about I buy you an ice cream?" He asks with a smile. May I just say that his smile is gorgeous? It's absolutely perfect but I can't fall for it.
"What? Did you not have enough girls to flirt with?" I ask him rudely and he just looks back at the girls and I can see him roll his eyes.
"I wasn't flirting with anyone." He defends himself.
Drew's POV
"What? Did you not have enough girls to flirt with?" She asks in a snobby tone. I just look back at the three girls. I don't even remember their names. Come to think about it, I don't even think they told me it. I just roll my eyes on how these girls just throw themselves at me.
"I wasn't flirting with anyone." I say to redeem myself. Why does she seem so annoyed. Did I say something wrong? No. I didn't say anything wrong at all. So why was she being so rude?
"Alright, well I'm going to go. Nice seeing you again I guess." She mumbles. I can tell she didn't really mean it.
"Wait. What's your name?" I ask her again. She never answered me before.
"Why do you need to know?" She snaps at me. This one is feisty. I have never met a girl like her before in my life.
"Because I'm just curious." I say looking into her eyes. But without answering again she turns around and starts walking off the beach. I just stand there staring at her as she got on he skate board and rode off. She skates? This girl is amazing. But what's killing me is I still don't know her name. Why is she keeping it such a secret? She has to be hiding something. And I want to know what it is.
