My footsteps echoed as I slowly walked down the last hallway before I reached the room. Emotions were flying free and were all consuming me. But the most prominent one I felt? Fear. As I walked, fear walked behind me, just slighter faster than me, slowly catching up to me. Eventually I would be taken over by that fear, but I walked on anyway, prepared to fight off the feeling behind me. This is what must be done. This is what has to happen. Voices continued speaking to me, giving me mixed emotions. You will fight and you will give it your best. You will be strong. Then there was the other side of it. You're afraid. You're too scared to fight. You were foolish to come here. You haven't reached your full potential. Everything you do will be for nothing. Everything you do is irrelevant in the end.

I walked on. I made my choice.

I walked into the room. Inside was an unfamiliar figure, weapon in hand. "So you have come." The door behind me slammed with a loud bang. "It's time to finish what I started." The figure turned to me, and lunged towards me. I dodged out of the way swiftly, remembering what I was taught. Strike now. He must take time to recharge after he attacks. I trusted the voice and struck quickly, hitting him directly. It was back an forth, him striking me and then me striking back. Every time he hit me, he struck hard. We were both weak and exhausted, panting on the floor when I heard the voice. Finish him, now. He's weak and won't get up. I stood up and charged forward, and as I charged a sword charged with lightning appeared in my hand. I slashed down at him, hitting him directly. The thunder shook him, and he fell to the ground. Behind me was a familiar voice. "Thank you for doing the dirty work for me. You humans are so easily manipulated." I turned to see a familiar flower before me. "With your help, now there's nothing stopping me, and I have the treasured souls he held onto for so long." His laugh echoed through the room. "Ahh, I can feel them wriggling. I'm sure you feel left out, but don't worry. I only have six souls I still need one more... Before I become a GOD. And then with my power, monsters, humans, everyone. I'll show them the real meaning of this world." Over my dead body." My voice echoed, but I didn't say anything. I, my body jumped back, and as I did what was left of the plant disappeared. "That can be arranged. Now prepare to suffer." In front of me, a monstrosity of vines formed. "You cannot beat me. I am unstoppable."
