OK, in all honesty, I don't think I could've found a better song to fit the story. I mean, I've already gone over why you're not in a rush to go back to the surface. Nobody's Home.

So, of course, same thing, don't have to listen to the song but would appreciate if you did, since it's probably one of my favorites (even though I say that about every song I like in all honesty...)

I'm actually really happy that I'm getting to write this because I can bring out a concept I wanted to include from the beginning but didn't know where to put it. I think I've found a way to fit it in with what's going on in the story (hint hint hint: it kinda involves the title of the chapter) and what's around the main character.

I might write a couple of short chapters soon, since this is like basically everything else ever written, where it gets harder and harder to continue with a story the more you write. Just enjoy, because that's really all I have to say.

I decided to get out and explore the town a bit more, since I haven't seen much of it. First thing that caught my eye was the libra- I mean, the librarby. I really do enjoy reading, so I decided to head in and see what they had. There were a bunch of books on the shelf, but two of the books were different from everything else. The spine didn't have a name or anything, and when I took them off the shelf, there was nothing on the front nor the back.

I took them immediately, and headed back to the house. Sans was in his room, and so was Papyrus, so I just sat on the couch with both books in front of me.

There were obvious differences, one was red, and looking through it quickly everything written in it was in a red pen of sorts. The other one was blue, and looking through it things were written in either blue or green pen. Curious, I started with the red book.

The first page, all I saw were random words that seemed to be in a different language or were just illegible. But, the words started to...glow?

OK, I've lost it. Red words inside of a book are glowing brightly in my face. Through the glow, though, I realized that they were now forming words. Something about manipulating gravity and the world around you?

As I was reading the glowing ink, I realized that the text wasn't the only thing glowing. My hand... started glowing (F/C), and I looked over at the table, which started to glow a faint (F/C), flipped upside down and rested on the ceiling after flying up...

Wait, did I just do that?

I focus on the trash can, and it happens again. My hand starts to glow, the trash can glows too, flips, and it hangs from the ceiling.

I think I just did magic...

I continued reading through the book and actually looked for things I would use. Most of it was just things that I might end up using but for self defense. Meteor swarms, rays of light that burn people, magical spears... I don't think those will come in handy anytime soon.

I go through the blue book, seeing if it's the same thing. The words also glow, and they do the same thing. This seems to be less aggressive and more what I'm looking for, a way to defend myself. Barriers against projectiles, anti-magic fields (just in case of other people who can use magic I guess?) and force fields. Also a spell that makes food, which I'm DEFINITELY going to be using a lot.

I hear a door open from upstairs as Sans walks outside of his room. Of course, the first thing he notices isn't me nor the book, but the upside down table on the ceiling. I probably should've flipped that back now that I think of it...

"Ummm, (Y/N)? Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, everything's fine, why do you ask?"

"Because there's a table floating from the ceiling."

"Oh, don't worry. You should see the trash can."

I just look up at him with a mischievous grin. I think he can figure out who's responsible for this, but if it wasn't obvious enough already he sees the books.

"Wait, why do those look familiar?"

"Oh, no reason. I just grabbed them from the library today. I was just about to start reading them."

"...(Y/N). Those are the spell books from the library, aren't they?"

"Yeah..."

"So you've figured out how to use magic?"

"Yep..."

He looks at me with a glare I get mixed signals from. He either wants to congratulate me for tapping into a secret power, or kill me on the spot. I mean, probably the latter because of the fact that most of this is dangerous but he knows I wouldn't use it unless I had to...

"You know I'm only gonna use this if I have to, like to defend myself or other people, right?"

"I mean, I was hoping that would be it."

Now that I think about it, can't he do magic? Or was that just part of the weird trippy vision where he threw me into space and slammed me back down. I mean, I don't think that's a thing you can do without magic, but who really knows at this point?

Without me even noticing, he comes down the stairs and sits next to me on the couch. "You might want to put those back before Papyrus sees. He still doesn't know about magic, not even mine." Yep, so he is magical.

"Fine..." I go ahead and flip them back.

Sans looks at me and then looks upstairs. "I have some more of the books upstairs if you want to read through them quickly. I'm sure there's some things in there that you don't know. I might be able to teach you something, too."

Without even realizing, I grab hold of Sans' hand tightly. "Sure. It gives me something to do, and I get better at something I just learned I can do. Seems like a win-win situation." Also I get to spend time with Sans, but I don't say that last part out loud.

Yep, I think it's official. I have a crush on a skeleton, and I'm sure so many people will hold that against me, especially the skeleton in particular.

His face turns bright blue after I finish speaking, and I look down and to the right, and then realize that I did grab hold of his hand. I pull away quickly, and play it off like that never happened as we go upstairs.

YOU'RE A WIZARD HARRY!

Yeah, but really, when you thought this book couldn't get any more cliche it manages to get more cliche.

Gonna continue to bounce ideas off of walls for a while, next chapter probably some time next week if not sooner.

And like always, thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed.
