Chapter 3

Chapter 3: The News

Juliette's POV:

     Right now I'm watching both Darren and Tom fight over which pie flavor is better; while me Daniella and Lucas are watching them fight while eating our lunch.

"How is coconut cream pie better? Its disgusting" said Darren

"It's amazing you just never lived life, but how is cherry pie your favorite" Tom asks and wondered

"Bro! its both juicy and sweet. Just like our little Juliette over here" Darren said and winked

I giggled while Lucas didn't really like that comment and said" Bro! next time you make a sexual innuendo towards my Julie, your ass is grass next time"

I giggled and placed my hand over his left hand that was holding his knife too tightly

"Calm down Lucas, it was just a dirty joke" I said and leaned in and kissed him on the cheek

He seemed to calm down by that and he set his knife down and grabbed my right hand and kissed it 

We enjoyed the rest of our lunch but when the speaker made an announcement

"Would Juliette Anderson please come to the headmaster office please. I repeat, will Juliette Anderson come to the headmaster office please. Thank you"

I gave a confused look and got up

"What was that about?" asked Daniella

"I don't know, but I have to go" I said and I grabbed my stuff 

"Did something happen?" asks Lucas worriedly

I faintly smiled and said "No, but no worries I'll be back"

He nodded and stood up and kissed me on the lips for a few seconds. When we broke apart, I smiled at him and waved goodbye to them as I make my way towards the headmaster office

I knocked on his door and I heard a faint 'come in' from inside

I opened the door and said "You wanted to see me Headmaster"

He turned around and said "Oh yes, please sit dear"

Our headmaster was a middle age man with short black hair and hazel brown eyes. He had been the headmaster since he was like 22 or something.

"What do you want to talk about sir?" I asked formally

"You see, I got a call from your mother and she said that she wants you to come back home and start to live there now. So that means my dear, that you are leaving the academy and the abroad schooling" he informed me sadly

It took me a few minutes to process everything and then I said "Sir, did she say why?"

He shook his head and said "I'm sorry Juliette but she didn't. But it was a real honor to be able to have you in our school"

I smiled faintly and said "It was a pleasure and to bad I wasn't able to finish my last half of senior year"

He stood up and I along stood up and he said "But there is good news, you do have enough credits to graduate here and so I took the liberty of being able to get your diploma earlier than usual. It wouldn't even matter if you got it at the end of the year my dear, since you have all high grades in every class" he said and handed me my diploma and award I earned so far into my senior year

I smiled happily and sadily at the same time and said "Thank you sir for everything and I promise I will visit here sometime. It has been one of my greatest experience in my life ever" 

He smiled and said "Thank you that means alot to me as your headmaster, and good luck in life Juliette"

I smiled and said goodbye to him and started to walk out of his office. Once I was in the hallway, I shed a few tears as I make my way towards my dorm to pack up. When I heard a familiar voice yell out "Juliette!"

I turned around and saw Lucas. He ran towards me and when he reached me he grabbed my face with his hands and wiped away the tears I have shed and ask, "Whats wrong my love?"

I placed my diploma and awards on the floor on wrapped my arms around his neck and said "My parents are making me move back home for the last half of my senior year"

I felt Lucas still and push me back enough for a bit of room and said "What? you're leaving"

I saw Lucas shed a tear from his eye and I wiped that tear away with the pad of the thumb and said "Sadly, the headmaster gave me my diploma for graduating here and I'm really going to miss you and everyone here"

He hugged me and said "Do not fret Juliette, we will see each other really soon. I promise"

"We will?" I asked

He nodded and kissed my forehead. 

"Lets go, I'll call the gang over to have a goodbye party in your dorm" Lucas said

I smiled sadly and nodded

He grabbed my diploma and award from the floor and we started the walk to my dorm. When we got to my dorm, I saw all my friends. Daniella was a crying mess and I hugged her really tightly; even everyone else.

I said all my goodbyes to everyone and when it came down to Lucas, Daniella, Darren, Tom, and I; we did a group hug and said to each other we will see each other soon. Just like Lucas promised me.

By the time it was 2:00 a.m. , I was packed and ready to fly back to my home in California.
