Chapter 7: His View

Lucas Holland's POV:

It has been one week since Julie moved back home, and within one week I have been a wreck. I have yelled at another student for bumping into me on Monday; while on Tuesday to Friday I have bumped up the training for my pack "The Shadow Howlers" since I'm next in line to be Alpha.

Right now I'm in my penthouse room in this blasted school trying to learn how to take over my family's business and pack.

"Bro! get your lazy ass off the couch and have some fun" said Tom

I ignored him and tried to continue the paper work. I felt the seat next to me on my couch cushion get lower indicating me that someone is sitting.

"Come on Lucas, you can't just mope around and be negative about everything" he said trying to help me

I sighed and dropped the papers and my pen back on to the table in the middle. I rubbed my eyes and looked at him

"You would feel the same if Daniella moved thousands of miles away from you" I said

"True, but Julie wouldn't want you so sulk all the time" he said

"I know. But I got an idea though" I replied

He raised an eyebrow and asked "What?"

I shrugged and said "I'll tell you when I have everything figured out"

He sighed and said "Ok. Fine. Just to remind you, you have a meeting with the council at 4" and left

I looked down at my watch and saw that its only 3. I got up and started to get ready for the meeting.

At the Pack House

"I believe that we should try to open up more, and try to help other allies for our pack to help prepare for what's to come" said council member, George.

"Interesting thought.... What do you think Lucas?" Asked my father Roland.

I cleared my throat and said confidently and professionally "I believe that's a good idea. However, we should instead team up with our greatest ally; and team up together to fight these unusual events"

I looked over at the other council members and they were thinking thoughtfully for it.

"I agree. Lucas has a wonderful idea that not only benefits us, but also another pack that might be able to help not only is; but also all the other packs in the surrounding area." Council member Adam said

My father nodded and said "Ok then. On favor to do what my son says raise your hand"

I looked over and saw that everyone rose their hands; even my father.

"That will be all gentlemen, and later I will contact "The Luminary Seekers" later today to ask if we can be on their lands until we solve the problems" said my father

We agreed and I stayed in my seat and I sighed an ran my hand through my hair.

"You did great Lucas" I heard my dad say

I looked up and smiled "Thanks. I'm just trying to be the Alpha this pack deserves"

He smiled and said "you're already the Alpha that this packs need. Just make sure to have the right mind set on things. Ok?"

I smiled and nodded

"Ok. Enough of business talk. Tell me how things are going with Juliette" he asked

I chuckled and said "Amazing. Until.." I led off

He frowned and asked "Did something happened with Juliette?"

I shook my head 'no' and said  "Her parents made her move back home for her senior year. And it has been hell trying to go on this week without her"

He frowned and said "no worries ok? Juliette is your mate and Luna. No matter what happens or how far you guys are from each, you guys will be together. The moon goddess made you guys mates for a reason"

I smiled and said "You always known what to say"

He smiled and got up and I followed suit

"Let's go, we got numbers to call"

I smiled and said "Ok. Wait!"

He turned around before walking out the door and raised an eyebrow

"The Luminary Seekers are in California right? Near the mountains and rivers?" I asked

He nodded and said "It's where Alpha Tom and his son Luke is"

I smiled really big and said "Perfect" and walked out the door and determined to finish this all up so I can see my Julie.
