"Baby, I'm cold," I whispered. He wrapped the blanket around my slim body, and pulled me closer to his chest.
This always made my heart beat abnormally, but in a good way.
His fingers grazed down my sides, and he held them there for a second before slowly going back up again. I knew what he was feeling because I was feeling the same way. We were just awful at showing it.
Two months, three weeks, and two days.
We still hadn't done what the other couples were doing.
We stayed facing each other, looking into each other's eyes. I just wanted to know what he was feeling.
"Sweetie, I-," he started to say.
I interrupt,"Yes?"
He stayed quiet for a few seconds, but it honestly felt like eternity. Slowly, he raised his eyes back up to my own, and I waited for a response.
"I think that, uh," he hesitates. "I love you." I smile, my breath hitching a bit. He laughs nervously, holding onto my hands.
"I love you, too," I finally say. He sighs with relief. Then, I notice something different in his eyes.
I didn't think too much about it because he interrupted my thoughts with a kiss.
Not a peck like I was used to though.
He grabbed my face, and glided his tongue around my lips before shoving it eagerly into my mouth.
I had never seen this side of him before, but I guess that's why I fell for it. It was something new.
After that night, I knew our relationship had changed, but what I didn't know is that the look in his eyes meant something. His eager way of kissing me had meant something as well. But, what exactly did it mean?
Two months, three weeks, and two days.
That's when love changed into lust.
That is when our relationship ended and a war began.
I wanted his heart while he wanted my body.
One of us was doing something right.
He just wanted us to be like the other couples.
No communication.
No clothes.
No love.Just lust.
