Sorry it took me so long to update. I was busy with school. SO MANY TESTS UGH.
Enjoy!
-------------------------------"Damn girl! You look fine as hell," Gabrielle said behind me as I swiped one last coat of mascara on my lashes. I looked at myself in the vanity mirror. She was right.
I stood up from the stool and admired my whole look. The white lace mid-thigh dress hugged my body, showing off my figure; small waist and large hips. Black stilettos covered my tiny feet, making my short self 6 inches taller. Simple jewelry hung around my neck and dangling earrings on my ears.
My jet black hair was in a braided bun, and a few baby hairs curled around my cheekbones. Lastly, a natural brown smokey eye and winged eyeliner opened up my small green eyes.I turned towards Gabrielle, but before I could even open my mouth to say anything, she blurted, "I swear you just stood there looking in the mirror for what seemed like forever, Haley! Now, com'on. We have to show these boys what they've been missing!" Girls' night was going to be a blast.
Gabrielle and I walked out the door, strutting towards the limousine she had rented. An older man wearing a grey suit opened the door for us to step inside. Five of my closest friends jumped towards me, almost making me fall back before Gabrielle had caught me, giggling. "Happy 23rd birthday, Haley!", they all spoke at the same time. I smiled, and stepped into the backseat with my girls.
As the driver headed towards the club, we all talked about what we had been through since we all had seen each other; six months. I really missed my girls, and I was glad I'd be spending my birthday with them.
It came around to me, and they asked how my love life was going.
"Uhm," I giggled. "Let's just say I haven't kissed anyone since Jake and I broke up." They all had a blank expression on their faces, then they all finally laughed.
"You're kidding, right?"
"Nobody at all?!"
"Girl, you're hot."
"Not any one night stands?"I giggled at their comments. It took them awhile to realize that I was being serious.
Gabrielle, whom was sitting beside me, looked at me like I was crazy.
"I can't believe this. My girl hasn't had any action in almost a year! Have you been hiding in a hole?"
Before I could get a word out, our driver stopped the limousine and said,"We have arrived at the destination."
I looked up at the sliding door between the front and back seat, and this was the first time I had seen our driver. He had to be in his mid-20's.. He was so charming. This gorgeous God of a man had these bright hazel eyes paired with his perfect pink and plump lips. He honestly looked like a model for Calvin Klein. I had gotten so caught up in his complexion that I didn't notice Gabrielle yelling my name.
"Jesus Christ, Haley! Stop zoning out and come party!"
"Oh.. Uh," I looked back at our driver and caught him looking at me with a confused expression.
"Aren't you going to go have some fun?," he asked me, giggling.
"Yeah. I'm going.. Now. Uhm.. Bye." I almost tripped when trying to get out of the limousine. It was going to be a long night.
