Sleepy Time

Kurloz's POV

I went downstairs to check on them around midnight. Somehow they went from sitting on the couch sleeping to laying down and cuddling, [Y/n] between Gamzee and the couch, Gamzee holding her by the waist. There was a small smile on her lips as she slept. Judging by her slight snoring, I could tell she was comfortable. God she's so beautiful. The moment I saw her walk through the door, I was under her spell. Just who is she? Judging by how protective Gamzee is of her and how enchanting she is, she probably doesn't know the effect she has on people. Father already thinks of her as part of the family, Gamzee is developing very strong feelings for her. But he's not the only one. I already know his friend, Sollux has his damn multi-colored eyes on her. I silently walked over to them and brushed some of [Y/n]'s hair out of her face. Yeah, they aren't the only ones.

I remembered what happened earlier tonight. The anger and fear on her face when she saw her brother frightened me a bit but also drew me into her spell more. I wanted nothing more than to hold her and calm her down but my brother was already holding her back. When we were all sitting, I wanted so badly to sit next to her and comfort her to keep her from bashing her brother's face in. But no, Gamzee beat me to that too. He always beats me to everything. Not this time. I will have [Y/n]. I'll show her the joys of real love and friendship. All he will do is hurt her. I'm not gonna let that happen.

Gamzee's POV

"Unnnfg." I groaned, stretching my stiff limbs and rolling over sleepily. Next thing I knew, my head slams on the ground and [Y/n] is giggling from the couch. "Motherfucking ow, man." Her giggles now turn into full blown laughter. I shoot her an evil glare and she tries to calm herself down, now silently snickering. Slowly, I crawled up the side of the couch and tackled her. Her high pitched squeal filled my ear as my hands found their way to her sides and started attacking her with tickles. Her chiming laughter filled the room until we were both out of breath. Me from laughing and tickling her; her from laughing and trying to stop my assault. After a few minutes, we calmed down and cuddled on the couch. Her hair was a bit disheveled and her makeup somewhat smeared but she still looked so amazing. Her beauty just hypnotizes me.

I finally realized I was staring at her for like 5 minutes when she flicked me in the nose. I chuckled and just pulled her close. Reaching for the table, I grabbed my phone to see what time it was. My phone read 4 AM. We had another 2 and a half hours until we had to leave. Putting my phone down, I held [Y/n] as she fell back asleep in my arms. A light snore came from her soon enough. It sounded like the purring of a kitten. I pushed some hair from her face back behind her ear. God, she is so beautiful. I leaned down and kissed her forehead lightly. A small smile crept on her face and she slept. I silently vowed that I wouldn't let anyone hurt her, especially her brother. He isn't going to take her away. He'll have to get through me first and there's no way he can. She is mine and I won't let anyone near her. Or at least, she will be mine. I will have her. She is just too beautiful to be let go.

I already know Kurloz likes her. It isn't obvious but I can see it in his eyes when he so much as glances at her. That small hint of longing shining in his eyes. He wants her too. He isn't going to have her. She will be mine.

After about 15 minutes of watching her, I slowly drifted into a dark sleep. I already knew, I'd have the dream again. I just hope she doesn't end up hurt.
