Phineas' POV

I had been thinking about Rebecca. Yeah I liked her, but does she like me back? I mean should I ask her out? I had so many questions, so I decided to ask Buford, Baljeet, and Ferb. Since they all had girlfriends, well at least Baljeet and Buford did. I went downstairs and grabbed the phone from the kitchen counter and called Buford and Baljeet. Luckily they could come over.

Now I just had to find Ferb. I went up to our room and found him laying on his bed reading a book.

"Hey, Ferb. Buford and Baljeet are coming over soon." I told him. He gave me a "what for" look.

"I wanted to ask you guys something." I said.

"Alright," he replied.

Right after Ferb said that we heard a knock on the door. I rushed downstairs and opened the door to see Buford and Baljeet standing there.

"Hey guys! Come on in!" I said enthusiastically. Ferb came down right after.

"So what did you want to talk to us about Phineas?" Baljeet asked.

"Okay so I kind of, well, sorta, *sigh*. I think I like Rebecca, but I don't really know what to do about it or whether she likes me back or if I should ask her out or..."

"Woah, woah, woah, wait. You like Rebecca?" Baljeet asked as they all looked at each other in an odd way, like they were worried about something.

"Umm, yes."

"Excuse us for one second." Baljeet said. I watched as they all huddled up like it was some secret plan to win a football tournament.

"Uh, we have a problem." Baljeet whispered.

"Yeah, totally..wait what's the problem?" Buford responded quietly.

"Isabella." Ferb stated.

"Oh, right. She'll be like totally heart broken if Phineas like becomes Rebecca's boyfriend." Buford whispered.

"And that's why I came up with a plan." Baljeet said.

"Okay, what is it?" Buford asked.

"We'll tell Phineas to look for certain signs that she likes him back and if she does he should ask her out."

"Okay, but how do we know if Rebecca likes him or not?" Buford questioned.

"I've noticed how Phineas' been acting around her, but it seems Rebecca has not been requiting these behaviors. So, therefore, I'm positive she doesn't feel the same way."

The two considered this information, and after a few seconds, Ferb whispered, "Alright, let's tell him."

I knew they were whispering about something important, I just didn't understand why they weren't telling me. It was like it was a huge secret. They all left where they had been huddled and sat down.

"So Phineas, we've decided on a plan for you." Baljeet said.

"Okay, shoot." I replied.

"Well before you confess how you feel to Rebecca or ask her out or anything, you should check to see if she likes you back."

"Okay, how do I do that?"

"You look for signs. Some are she gets nervous or stutters around you, she stares at you a lot, she try's to get your attention, or she wants to be around you as much as she can. Those are just some examples."

"What if she doesn't show any of the signs?"

"Then you shouldn't confess your feelings."

"And...what if she does?"

"You make your move."

I smiled.

"Thanks for the advice everybody. Now I just need to wait."
