This story is based off of the Hobbit movies and so credit is very much due not only to J. R. R. Tolkien, the original author of the Hobbit, but also Peter Jackson and his team for the movies. At some points, actual dialogue and lyrics are used from the movie, especially where the story follows the movie's plot, and so, unfortunately, do not belong to me. I'm sure if you've watched the films, you'll be able to see which bits are my own and which bits are not.
Gifs are used for each chapter, often being just gifs of Lagertha from the Vikings tv series that I feel fits with the feel of the chapter. None of these gifs are my own and most are from the Lagertha tag on Tumblr. Check it out (and the tv series, damn).
I've merely tried to write another perspective to a series of films that I have enjoyed immensely (even the last one, to an extent). I hope you enjoy it.
