"Are you sure you're okay?" Parrish worriedly frets over  me as I stand out in the hallway. His full attention is on me instead of focusing on Violet, who is being handcuffed just a few feet away.

My fingers ghost over my throat where the burn from the wire was- until it healed a few seconds before the cops showed up. I didn't even get to say a word to Scott or Stiles before Parrish ran into the locker room because he thought something was wrong with me when I just up and left the game. I nod my head, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Parrish gives me a narrowed eyed look, like he doesn't believe a word I'm saying and will question me later at home. "Okay." He pulls me into a warm embrace for a few seconds. "I'm glad you're okay."

Ever since I came back to life, Parrish and I have grow incredibly close. We have one of those brother/sister relationships, yet we act more like best friends at times. I easily relax in Parrish's arms, thoughts of Scott and Stiles knowing who I really am now. There's no way they are going to let me leave without them demanding to know what is going on. Truth be told, I'm excited to tell them. They guessed it right- well, Scott overheard Violet, but it still counts.

"I'll see you at home, okay?" Parrish releases his hold on me to go back to work.

"I'll see you there." I promise him, letting my arms fall to my sides while he walks over to Violet. The feeling of someone watching me has the hairs on my neck standing up, but I don't feel scared about it. I look over my shoulder to see Scott staring at me from a little ways down the hallway. I nod my head at him, giving him a look that I understand that we need to talk.

I step off to the side when Parrish and another deputy leads Violet down the hallway with her arms behind her handcuffed. She shoots an evil smirk in my direction. With Parrish being too observant at times, he furrows his eyebrows at the interaction between Violet and myself.

Violet's head moves to the other side, spotting Parrish's name tag. "Jordan Parrish?" She loudly questions in deep thought.

"Deputy Parrish." He corrects her, harshly.

The stone cold expression I had on my face when she looked my way drops. I nearly get whiplash when I snap my head in Scott's direction with a fearful expression. The only reason she would know Parrish's name is if he's on the deadpool. The way she said it made it seem like she's seen his name before, like it means something. I'd like to see her try and hurt Parrish.

Sheriff Stilinski follows behind the three of them with an evidence bag in his hand. I slowly creep down the hallway curious to know if the wire is in the bag. I stop walking when Sheriff Stilinski is stopped by Agent McCall.

"Sheriff, what is that?" Agent McCall points to the bag. "Is that the weapon?"

"Yeah," Sheriff Stilinski moves the bag around to show the wire off that Violet used on Brett and myself. "It's a thermo-cut wire."

Like a light bulb going off in his head, Agent McCall gawks at the bag before walking down the hallway towards Parrish and Violet. "Parrish, hold up."

I draw closer until I'm standing right beside Scott without even truly realizing that Claire wouldn't do this, but I'm not really Claire. Scott and I stop walking to follow when Liam slides around the corner of the hallway to stand in front of Scott. His eyes briefly meet mine before fully focusing on Scott.

"Where's Kira?" Scott asks.

"She took off. Stiles told her about Lydia cracking the second part of the Deadpool." Liam shares with us. Once again, his light eyes meet mine, but this time, they hold curiosity.
