One Text Message To Brad

I quickly changed into suitable clothing and threw my up hair up in a pony tail and headed across the road to Brad's house.
As soon as I pressed the door bell Brad's mum came running up to me and gave me a hug before she told me Brad was up stairs. I followed her directions and made it to his room to see him sitting on his bed with his head in it hands.
"Brad" I said as I knocked on the door
"Oh Maddie come in" he said as he tried to put on a fake smile
"Oh god what's wrong" I said as I sat next to him on the bed
He grabbed my hand
"I don't know what to do Maddie" he sighed
"Brad tell me what is going on"
"Maddie don't get angry with me"
"Brad you are scaring me"
"The vamps got signed to a new management"
"That's great news Brad!" I shouted as I hugged him
"I know but they are based in London and we can't travel every weekend to London so we are planning on moving"
"You are what?"
"I know"
"But I have been living across from you for as long as I can remember"
"Well unless I quit the band? Yes that could work! Then I get to stay here with you!" Brad said with a smile
"No"
"No?"
"No! It's your career which could change your whole life! No I refuse"
"But-"
"You are taking this opportunity" I said as a tear rolled down my cheek
"Maddie don't cry" he said as he hugged me
"When will you be leaving"
"In a couple of weeks after we have finished our Exams"
"A-a couple of weeks?"
"Just less than a month" as he said that his voice broke as a tear rolled down his cheek
"Um I-I have to go I'm sorry"
I rushed out of his room and his house with tears streaming down my face
I have lost him again but this time forever
