Look skyward, towards the stars,
And see how they extend so far.
Look as far as you possibly can,
To see the universe never ends.
Look skyward, towards the sun,
And see how it continually runs,
Chasing the moon across the sky,
An eternal race till the day they die.
Look skyward, towards the clouds,
Floating before the sun, uncowed,
Covering the light, letting it shine,
Reaching down to the tree line.
Look skyward, towards the planets,
Forever orbiting, always in transit.
See the different shapes, sizes, and colors,
Each one an individual and unique wonder.
Look skyward, towards the universe,
And see how it is so diverse,
Many creations, all skyward,
So amazing, yet often ignored
