The land chosen
Destined to change
No chance of return
To its previous wayForests destroyed
The fertile land plowed
To provide sustenance
For those all aroundThe animals lose
Their only home
Humans kick them out
Leaving them to roamWe build our houses
Our towns and skyscrapers
Without a thought crossing our mind
About what we've done to natureWe take her materials
And don't give back in return
We just take and take
And nobody learnsBut now I've learned
The dreadful truth
And if you don't believe
Look at our world for proofBecause building and
Destroying our world
Is all that humans
Are good for
