We approached the front door and Dylan looked at me as if to look for confirmation to proceed. I nodded and he looked away hesitantly. He opened the door and we saw pack members lined up with huge smiles adorning their faces. "Hello Luna," they all said in unison. I gasped but quickly replied with a warm smile. "Hello everyone, I hope I will be able to get to know you all," I said looking at them.
"So as everyone already knows to treat the Luna with respect and kindness so I will expect nothing else. That will be all, you are all dismissed," Dylan said in an informative voice. They all briefly bowed and quickly scurried out. I looked at him at he looked back with a dazed look as if he was mindlinking someone, which he probably was.
"Lets go to our room," he said suddenly making me jump a little. He held my hand a guided me to a large wooden door with intricate designs. As the door opened I couldn't help but gape at the luxurious space. There was a big king sized bed in the middle of the room, it had black sheets and white and grey pillows. As I looked around the room I noticed two other doors which probably lead to the bathroom and the walk-in-closet. The walls of the room were a light grey and the doors were white wood.
"Do you like it?" Dylan asked from beside me. I nodded while gaping and walking around. As I walked to the first door I noticed the hardwood floor that seemed a brownish-maroon colour. I opened the first door and I couldn't help but be marveled by the beauty of it all. There was a huge bathtub in the corner and a shower that looked like it could fit five people inside comfortably. There were two sinks and a large mirror that stretched over it. Again the theme colours were grey and white with a black cabinet. "Wow, this place is amazing," said Allison. I just slightly nodded as a response.
I went out to try and explore what lay behind the second door, but was called back by Dylan. After taking one last glance at it I walked towards him, I had always been curious hence why it seemed like a massive task leaving the door behind. "Do you wanna go look in there?" Dylan asked raising a brow at me. "Yeah, and the rest of the house too," I said with inquisitive eyes. "You will have plenty of time to do that after we eat lunch. It's unhealthy for you to stay so long without eating, with you being underweight and all." He said rather quickly.
"Yeah..about that, I'm not hungry. Maybe I could have a glass of water." I said hopefully. "No, you need this Bella and you know that. We should probably also get you checked at one of the pack doctors." He stated. My shoulders sagged in defeat, "fine," I said dragging it unnecessarily long. Dylan led me to the kitchen but on the way I couldn't help but admire the patterns and portraits adorned on the walls. As we reached the kitchen, the smell of macaroni and mince was wafting through the air breaking me from my reverie.
That was the awkward moment when my stomach growled. Curse you stomach! Both Allison and I said at the same time. Luckily it was only Dylan in the kitchen with me and the smell was just coming from the pot on the stove. When I turned to look at Dylan, I couldn't believe my eyes. He was trying as hard as he could to stifle a laugh but it wasn't working. Dylan finally gave up and laughed out loud. I rolled my eyes and fake pouted. "Hahah- I'm so sor- hah sorry , haha- you-haha-facial exp-ex- expression was *wheeze* halarious hehehaha," he managed to get out through his uncontrollable laughter. His laugh died down after a while and he tried to untangle my crossed arms.
"Are you mad at me," he asked looking like a six year old. "Yes," I said still pouting, "it's not funny." "Ok fine I'm sorry, forgive me pleeeaaase," he said with pleading eyes. "But just this once," I said pointing an accusing finger. "I promise not to laugh at stomach growls ever again. I cross my heart and hope to cry," he said with a serious face. I became puzzled, "why cry?" "Oh or would you rather have me die?" He said with a sad voice. My eyes widened in realisation. "No no no no it's better if you cry," I said quickly. "I'm dishing for you and you better eat," he said. He immediately turned around and started dishing for both of us. After a while we were both sitting down eating next to each other.
Even though I hadn't wanted to eat before, the food looked and smelled mouthwatering. Oh well.
