Isabella's POV

We have been running around for about two hours trying to find the council members with no luck. Dylan has been rambling on and on with his wolf, something about a bet. "Ugh, this is taking forever, we really need to see them," I sighed exasperatedly.

Dylan took my hand in his, "don't worry my love, we'll arrive before you know it," he said encouragingly. I smiled and nodded. Just as we began to walk a blinding light appeared before us. A door that appeared before us made me crane my neck just to attempt to see the top.

A friendly, womanly voice broke through the silence, "welcome to werewolf council headquarters, we are delighted to help you in any way we can." I looked at Dylan and smiled in relief.

We walked in hand in hand until we reached the gold trimmed staircase that had intricate carving that were recarved from the ones made by the first weres to grace the land.

As we approached the top I began to feel nervous. I felt my hand being squeezed, that's when I saw Dylan smiling at me in reassurance and I began to calm down. We finally reached the top where we came face to face with six godly beings. They looked as if they had been slowly made so as not to ruin any feature on them.

"Welcome to the council children, we have awaited your arrival since your request was brought in," said the first member who was a gorgeous woman with a white robe that made her glow and blonde braided hair that floated around her as if she were in water.

"Thank you so much, I'm in dire need of your help," I confessed to them rather quickly. The man towards the end of the row extended his hand and said, "go ahead, we're listening."

"OK so, my parents passed away when I was really young and left me a gift that I was only supposed to open once I turned sixteen. I opened the gift and it was a set of jewellery........." I explained and eventually finished up.

They all looked at each other perplexed at what I had said. One of the members spoke up, "could you display to us your 'surge of power' that you experienced?" I hesitated a bit before I looked at Dylan and removed my necklace before handing it to him.

I concentrated all of my energy and tried to recreate what had happened. After a few minutes of trying, nothing happened. I looked at my hands wondering why it wasn't working.

"And..." one of the amazing beings asked. I looked at them, "I don't know what is happening," I sputtered. "Well then how do we know you're telling the truth?" one of the women inquired. "I'm telling the truth, I assure you," I said desperately.

"But if you can't prove it then..." he was cut of by the almost familiar surge of blue and white. I glanced at my hands in wonder at the tingling sensation of it. "Stop!!" someone hollered. Lyssa help! I shouted in my head. I'm trying Bel! she shouted back. The started to reduce up to the point where I was able to put my necklace back on.

"Alright, you have proven yourself. We have decided to do everything in our power to help you." one of the men announced. I smiled gratefully at them. We started to move out of the headquarters.

As we reached the main gates, we heard a a loud bang that shook the earth. "What was that?" asked one of the council members. I looked around in confusion, "I don't know, I really don't."
