Last night you were in my dreams. You came to me and you cupped my face. It felt so real, Levi. You told me not to cry. To live my life. You said that I need to stay strong for my friends, for my family and for you.
You spoke to me softly, looking at my eyes. You were caressing my cheeks with your fingers as I cried. I told you that I miss you. So much. That I want you back and can't live without you, but you shushed me, saying I'm going to be alright.
How can I be fine without you, Levi?
It is day 2 now. And I'm locked in our room. I'm lying on our bed, inhaling the fading scent of you on the sheets. Mikasa came in the morning, finding me curled up in the bed with dry tears on my face. She said that I needed to eat, but I wasn't hungry. I told her to leave and she did so. But from time to time she comes to check on me. I guess she's scared for me. I don't blame her, I'm scared for me too.
Levi. I miss you. I hope that I'll see you tonight in my dreams. I hope that I'll get to kiss your lips again, love. If my dreams are the line between our two separated worlds, then I hope to fall asleep soon.
